Are you sure you want to attack your team mate/self?

Why the F hasn't this been implemented yet?

More detail:

BOB makes pop-ups warning you that you are ending attack phase and other things. I've heard that BOB has been integrated into the site, so it seems appropriate for me to ask about this here rather than in "tools and enhancements."

BOB/CC should have an option to warn you about attacking team mates, or your other selves in polymorphic games. Occasionally, you do it on purpose. But I probably mistakenly kill 1-2 "friendly" troops in half of my poly games/team games. Most often it happens when I think I've ended the attack phase, and I'm trying to fort to a neighboring territory. OOPS, 2 troops lost.

Great idea, Unless coding is difficult this is a no-brainer ... I can't think of a good reason not to employ this idea other than something technical.

As far as I know the interface (the site's rather poor BOB replica) doesn't give have the "are you sure..." questions implemented, only BOB does. Therefore you would have to ask the people currently managing BOB to implement this.

If the interface does actually have these conditions then completely ignore me and have a nice day.

Au contraire! If you go to the Game Settings page there are a variety of confirmation options - "Confirm Deploy" "Confirm Auto Assault" "Confirm Phase End".

I personally would not want this confirmation option, but if anyone else does, please discuss!

It should be very easy to add that feature, considering the other confirmations available, I would think. The system obviously knows who is "Friend" and who is "Foe", because you can only fortify to "friends" (team mates/self in poly).

Usually you don't want to attack your friends. Occasionally you need to to get a bonus or something. But most of the time it's a mistake. Most often for me it's when I think I've ended attack phase. Please take 5-10 minutes and implement this suggestion.

Fair enough. I don't use the interface and have no intention of it, but I stand corrected.

If this is implemented, can it say "are you retarded?" instead?

iAmCaffeine never makes mistakes in his games, which is why he's managed to achieve the lofty rank of Captain after 4,474 games.

I, unfortunately, am a bit more error prone, so I'd appreciate this feature.

Bahaha you crack me up. Ask anyone who has half a clue and you'll realise rank does not reflect skill, regardless of what you keep telling yourself.
