Concise description:
  • The site stores this information in users profiles
  • You can search a member based on this stuff
  • None of it is needed, and it probably contributes to lag

Specifics/Details:
  • When I first got Windows 98, I was warned "Never get ICQ, they will give away your information to anyone who asks, making it a privacy and security nightmare"
  • AIM used to be pretty big, but I don't know anyone who uses it (or AOL even).
  • YIM is actually called YM now, and has been cancelled since 2012.
  • MSNM has been cancelled, as Microsoft bought Skype
  • If we are going to do the whole social media thing, why not Twitter or Facebook or something that people use?

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
  • It will reduce lag?
  • Make us feel less trapped in 2006

In these three years we have not worked, we have not respected the institutions of the state or of law. We have not produced. That is not a revolution. Another revolution is beginning. That of minds and of work.
