Concise description:
  • When one player is kicked from game, nothing will change
  • When the second player from the same team is kicked, one of his territories becomes neutral instead of going to a teammate

Specifics/Details:
  • 3 players with 11 terts get 9 per round
  • 1 player with 33 gets 11 per round (probably more with bonuses in reality)

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
  • the bonus for losing 2 teammates won't be as great
  • right now, if one player is kicked in a trips, it is most economical for a second player to be kicked

Probably not a great suggestion, but I think it can open the discussion again in a new light.

any game link that proves it could turn out beneficial for a team to do that? the opponents would need to get pretty shitty dice if the other team still has that much terrritories after 6 back to back turns.. I see this as a possible problem only for round limit games.

I think it's not great. The guy who loses his teammates hardly win the match. In fact losing teamates equals losing rounds that's more of a penalty than losing territs.

I'm not really in favor of changing game mechanics like this, especially when it would effect such a small percentage of games anyway. What team has 2 people kicked in the same game?

And what team was able to win after that? Maybe if the users got booted from the site, so it happened in one turn and the game was no spoils this might happen. But I would think that it's exceedingly rare that the "problem" occurs.
