well I was thinking we could have ages... or we could call them something different... for those of you who don't know ages are when you reset everyone's scores to 1000... or we could say for what ever rank they have they get put down to a different amount of points(a higher amount for the higher rank you are)... this way people who started bad can someday be in first... I say do ages every 6 months or something like that... This makes it more fun for a lot of people... and that way the amount of game numbers would not go on into the millions...
Tell me what you think of this idea...

Before I vote I have to figure out what you mean. If you could rephrase your question because I am not understanding what you mean.

I think essentially what he's saying is that we should have periodic resets of everyones score. If this is in fact the case, I think it's a pretty crappy idea because so many people work so hard to get to their ranks it would take so muh of the achievment away if all that just disapeared every 6 months.

Perhaps maybe for the very low players, once they attain x, whatever it might be. Maybe >100 or something. But certainly not for any of the higher ranked players, if I had a high rank...I would be mad if someone took it away.

I understand what your saying but the only way I would think it could work for the higher players is say reseting those under 1k every 6 months

I think that hotgun might not understand how the scoring and ranking works here. This isn't like an MMORPG, where your score consistently goes up as you spend time playing and accrue more experience points. The Conquer Club scoring system is meant to reflect your actual skill at the game. High-ranked players can drop very quickly if they start playing poorly, and even if you've built up a very poor score over a long period of time, you can still rise to first place if you suddenly start playing with first place skills. In fact, the lower your score, the faster it'll go up if you improve, and the higher your score, the faster it can plummet.

A score reset could really blow sometimes. Its tough when you're reset because you end up matched against players much better than you, but without the scoring handicap in place. I think a score reset should just be reserved for an instance where rampant cheating becomes apparent, such as what happened with halo 2, you all know what i'm talking about.

If only I had console game video systems beyond Super Nintendo and N64...then I might know what you are talking about.

Don't you fret, i've hardly touched mine since conquer club, and you didn't have to waste the money on it.
