Had this unfortunate event happen to me Yesterday. Started my turn (on mobile), lost connection, couldn't finish turn. Even more unfortunate than that-didn't even get to deploy any troops.
Not a good thing to happen, but I thought at least I'll get to deploy those troops I missed out on next turn....right?...WRONG!
It's turns out that the rules say you only get to keep your troops if you miss your whole turn. If something happens after you try and begin your turn, then you're screwed.
This might not happen very often. But might have happened to most people at one time or another at least once or twice.
So, I think we need a rule change to make an incomplete turn-where troops were not deployed, for whatever reason- at least equal with a totally missed turn.
It seems ridiculous that someone could almost deadbeat, or even just waste everyone's time by a whole 24 hours. Then still get that 'reward'/fallback of the 'extra' troops they could have missed out on. Yet someone who at least TRIES to take a turn, but something technical goes wrong,- for example 30 minutes into the 24 hours, then an internet problem occurs- might hold up the game for 1 hour 30 minutes and get punished.
There at least needs to be parity on what happens to those troops which couldn't be deployed.
Who's with me? Let's storm the walls of the rule makers' castle and demand this new law be enacted.
