A question about the artillery territories...do they act like the artillery in Waterloo (ex.they can only bombard but cannot not attack adjacent territories)?

Right, artillery cannot attack, only bombard. (It is the job of the adjoining infantry to protect the artillery.)

Using the BOB add-on is very helpful on dense maps like this one, as it makes obvious attack and bombardment routes through its Map Inspect feature.

hmmm, interesting. could you please let me know how to get that? thanks.

I still don't really like the map that much, but being as this is one of those heavily complex maps I guess it does have it's support. (I still don't even like waterloo much)

Still waiting for the file upload i think MrBenn.
Once that's done, this can go and Das Schloß

Hmmm :-k

Are we still waiting for a file upload? I haven't had any notifications from lackattack about it - can you repost the latest links and we'll make sure it's all tickety-boo.

I'm very sorry to bring this up the day the map came out of beta -- an unfortunate coincidence.
R 1077AA U3 AA Bat isn't supposed to be able to attack R 1077AA U4 Inf, but it is.

Fine map.
A small note, unless it's been picked up: in the drop-downs when you assault Orlovka Woods it's mistakenly called Orlovak Woods.

I beleive that has already been picked up.

This should fix that error. Thanks joriki.

The more I play it, the more I like it. I even got a book about Stalingrad from the library, it really piqued my interest. This map is an educational tool as well as a lot of fun to play, I would love to play this as a board game to be honest with you all!

Nice map
There is an error in reinforcements
G60th Div should be able to reinforce G398th Div but it doesnt.
Instead it reinforces Airfield Inf.

Can you point to a game log where that happened? I have reviewed the XML and it appears correct. Perhaps you mistakenly selected one of the similarly named armour territories.

Excellent map!

Question: Do river boats only assault/reinforce one way? (i.e the direction of the arrow)

Thx in advance!

There is only a one-way assault and no rear fortification on the one-way arrows.

A ---- B -----> C means that only C cannot fort to the rear, since there are no one-way arrows between A and B

Sorry that is not quite clear.
If you have BOB, it will hepl make play clearer.

1 --- 2 --> 3
between 1 and 2 it is just a normal connection
but you can attack and fort only from 2 to 3 and not from 3 to 2
De gueules à la tour d'argent ouverte, crénelée de trois pièces, sommée d'un donjon ajouré, crénelé de deux pièces

Thank you Pamoa and Cairnswk! : )

I have another question: Can troops on a artillery/AA gun icon assault an adjacent square? Similary, could a tank assault a artillery?

(Or is it only infantry and tanks that can perform an assault action that results in the territory capture?)

Sorry for all the questions!

Sorry to be blunt, but are you able to interpret the legend icons at the top of the map?

I still don't know what "close" means in the context of AA->Tank bombardments...
