immobility isn't absence of movement
it's a posture
or the moment of a movement dilated in time

so they are moving
but not in our scale of time
De gueules à la tour d'argent ouverte, crénelée de trois pièces, sommée d'un donjon ajouré, crénelé de deux pièces
Gules an open tower silver, crenellated three parts, topped by a apertured turret, crenellated two parts

Just so everyone knows, I've written a newsletter piece that claims that this map is in Beta and ready to play... but the I found out today that it isn't on list of maps, so I guess it's not uploaded (EDIT: from the previous comments that seems to be the case). The newsletter comes out in two days... should I amend the article???

Let's hope by then it will be. We are now entering the third week since this map was given the Beta stamp and the files were sent to be uploaded. So, hopefully, someone will realise this is the longest wait for a Beta-approved map to come online in eons and actually press the buttons necessary to upload it.

This is getting ridiculous. I don't see why lack can't transfer his powers to andy if he is going to be away for weeks on end. And if he refuses to do this, as it would seem, it would have been nice if he'd leave a note "dear CC community, I'm going to the bahamas to sip expencive excotic drinks paid for by yours truely, and thus nothing of importance can be done onsite for the next month or so, sorry for the inconvineince, /L"
I would have given a hearty laugh and said "good on ya Lack, drink one for me too".

I want to play this god damn map :!: :)

I think CC plans to release it in Beta on the 200th anniversary of the start of Napoleon's 1812 Russia Campaign, on 24th June 2012 (crossing of the riber Njemen separating Prussia and Russia). Cheer up folks - just short of 700 days to go!!!

Well, if nothing's been done by next newsletter's release, I suppose we could do another interview with Kab and Rask about how it feels to have the longest-running non-Beta Beta map in CC history....

Just like Napoleon felt when he conquered Moscow and instead of winning the war, lost his Grande Armee...

Buddha seems a little out of place on a site like this, but I understand the sentiment.
