V6 - 6/7/11

* update to increase the size of this small map so that squares are now 26 pixels wide - map size 1026 x 891.
This should ensure that 888s fit in the squares well as shown by the colour and 88 combinations.
* major adjsutment to the title
* script added for the losing condition
* removal the earn column (causing confusion i bleive) from the Treasury on each side

as all your other in-game starting position (command ship / supply ship / and 1 territory) are grouped in the range of 3 squares
these can't have nearby supply ship

V7
This version fixes the graphic concept for the Beacons.
* Graphic placed in legend
* One-way lit beacon now surrounded by black border
* Open-top beacon can be assaulted from 3 sqaures above it.
* Also adjusted was the land behind the beacons to ensure there is no doubt they are entirely on land.

v6 and v7 look very blurry compared to v5. maybe check the quality at which you save the the image.

thanks DiM, i see what you mean, but i don't know what's causing it...i use 100% quality export to .jpg from vector....the .png file would produce a better graphic but at these early stages, it takes too long to download and i prefer not ot use .png but rather leave it for final map upload. See what V8 turns out below.

V8

Changes:
* title moved around to create more script space...icons added for designer/scripter
* better explanations for sea territories that tie in with bombardments
* player row deleted and treasury moved down
* coloured numbers added for 12 player games to see what they might look like
* territory placed for each Monarch to bring them into gameplay as per legend top and bottom
* some more spanish territories placed on the board...see if we need more?

Okay looking over this for your Supersize Application, I have a question. Will all the numbers be alternating in each grid space? Because in one spot you have a number overlapping another.

The six months of vacation has expired, for this reason this topic is now labeled as [Abandoned]. If the original mapmaker wants to continue this map project it's fine but an update must provided. From this moment anyone else is free to take this project without the original mapmaker permission, but it has to be started from the scratch.

Version 9 updated.
1. the supply ships have been notated with an "S"
2. all ships dashed borders have been increased from 1 to 2 to make them clearer.
3. a smattering of neutral 1s has been added to the left above spanish treasury to give indication of how the map will start.

Let's get this rolling again.
