still very green, and mostly the same green, add some trees, maybe a few mountains to remove the greenness.

how come the top right castle has no path to it?
in the time you are working in castles where one of the most important places in the land, so every castle would have many roads to it.

im assuming your river and castles are not fully complete yet.

i think you need more bonuses, only two is noway near enough

you legend should say
one of feudal's six

bit of a step away from your old idea, could you make each castle, made up of tiny territories, sort of like cairnswk does in thai burma pow railway.

i will give you more comment soon,
(view DiM thread to see the sort of minuet details i will pick you up on)

cool map

you're wrong too.

it's either

"castles can bombard territories within *their* kingdom"

or "castle can bombard territories within its kingdom"

A couple of changes guys.

Landscape changes, ive included a lake to cover some of the green, and ive also added trees to brong te landscape a little more alive.

Gameplay wise now recieve a +1 bonus for every 2 terrirtories you own and neutrals will now most likely be set at 1 or 2 max, with maybe the vilages recieving 3+. this is to ensure people have reason to attack rather than build up in there castles.

I also reworked the legends to give more space and sadly had to remove the little intro i had :(

EDIT: ive jsut noticed that theres a couple of terr names missing ill fix that in the next update.

Gimil...just a couple of suggestions for next update when u get to it....
1. is it possible to bring this large version down to 800px wide. there appears to be some room for movement there?
2. perhaps some shadows on the castles, as there is shadow on the bridges and what looks like on the rock walls/hedge rows.

1. Ill already stated that ill do this once i start working on the small. i assure you there is plenty of space to move this to 800px wide, ive been keeping track.

2. Im working on the castles as we speak

I am starting to read this thread and once I have that done I will comment properly but at the moment I have one huge issue, this map looks like a computer generated image of a golf course and no matter how good graphics, gameplay etc. it has a big problem if it looks like a golf course in my mind anyway unless of course it is a golf course. Anyway as I said I'm posting this having yet to read this thread, once I have read it I will make some more reasoned and sensible observations hopefully.

the lake, the river through the middle, the coloring, the layout this is a golf course lookalike, it's just missing the bunkers. I am just making an overall observation as distict from comment about the specifics of this map's graphics or gameplay - i look at this map and i see a golf course.

gimil im really, really sorry that is the last thing i wanted to do i wanted to give you a very quick initial point, it should be seen as tongue in cheek as obviously this map tells an epic story and has lots of exciting features which would be just the kind of thing that draws me in and as i said i want to read the thread before commenting on these but i just wanted to say this map looks like a golf course when you see it initally at this moment in time, obviously this will change when names etc. are added, honestly gimil don't take what I said as a criticism just an observation from someone who plays a bit and watches a lot of golf.

PS how could I not like a map with a rebel area on it lol

i feel i have started digging a hole and every time i say something i just keep digging (note to self: always check out the full story before commenting) I had not taken the legend into account when i made my first comment yes i can see clearly all territories have been named

There is a little voice in the back of my head saying delete/edit my posts thus far so this golf course thing doesn't distract from the great job you have done but honestly it should be seen as nothing more than an inital observation from a "bad, bad man" with a very unusual sense of humour.

golf course

i can already see the game log:

with a sharp tee shot DiM takes a good aproach for the south hole.

Gimil is up. he has a nicely laid put shot in front of him. a bit of concentration and he'll be the new champion of the feudal trophy.
he looks he takes a short swing and....and...and....it's in the bunker. an unbelieveble shot that went in the sand. filled with andger he goes to the bunker and he hits and hits and hits and hits. he start cursing and jumping around like a mad man. the officials have him removed from the field. now it's just DiM and the wind and the grass the ball and the 9 iron. an extremely difficult shot over the lake. the veterans say he should play it safe. but he's not that kind. he takes a chance and swings. and ladies and gentlemen we have a hole in one. incredible. he is the new feudal golf course champion.
