yes, but there were no region with Tiki and airport together. you moved Tiki to Kaitara from Whangerei, but you did not moved airport from Kaitara...

cairns, I do not think that moving this airport is huge change. and it realy could helps in my opinion. and then Gisborne, Taranaki and also Northland could be +2...
it is not about "who said what", I just can help... now in Beta, because later it will be too late.

Oneyed

EDIT: also Nelson could be +3 and Wellington +2.

If you wanted to change the airport from kaitaia to Whangarei that would make sense for the following reasons:

1. It separates out the Tiki from the airport;
2. Kaitaia airport is a tinpot little place servicing few people in RL whereas Whangarei airport services a city and that is more in keeping with the other airports; and
3. Whangarei is more special to me!

Hope that helps

It seems the coding may have been changed on this map? Mid-game the armies received for territory count changed, it seems very odd now. 4 armies for 16 and for 18 where as I received 6 for 18 the first turn, as was normal in previous games on this map. (check out Game 12249641) What's up?

Yes coding has changed.
Divisor of 4 instead of normal 3 will apply as soon as upload has taken effect. :)

looks good. :)

- you have wrong colour of frame around New Plymouth.
- could you do a little more visible the last northern hill between Milford Sound and Mt. Aspiring N.P.?

the gameplay changes in my opinion:
- move airport from Kaitaia to Whangarei
- Northland could be +2. if not then decrease Gisborne to +1 and Taranaki to +1.
- Wellington could be +2
- Nelson could be +3
... but I think there are guys with more experience about bonuses...

If the background/frame of the territory names is intended to match the zone colours, then I think Coromandel and Napier are wrong, having picked up the colour of a neighboring zone. And in general, these colours would match the zones better if they were all fully opaque. As they are, they blend in the ocean colour and look too blue. The part of the New Plymouth frame that matches best is the part which picks up the shallow water colour, which is less saturated than the deep water.

In general I think this is a cool map but I'm finding the airports to be really distracting. Sorry I know this is the kind of broad sweeping statement I'm supposed to say way earlier in the process but I really just don't pay a lot of attention to the foundry any more. I think there are just too many territories that are airports. It's kind of like the whole inter-connectivity thing gone wild. I think it takes away some elements of gameplay when virtually every bonus has access to every bonus. Also, I feel like I have to defend every other territory that I capture. It's really quite annoying.

In general I do like this map, but I think it would be better with out or with way less of the airports.

planes look good, this isn't the only map with lots of inter-connections, so it works nicely. Imagine their not being kaitaia and auckland. +4 bonus completely impenetrable and protected by 1 terr.

Also like the solid lines connecting terr. names to troop bubbles, really clarifies it well!
The one at coromandel kinda goes over it's terr. border which clashes a bit, so maybe make it a straight diagonal line like at ashburton and timaru rather than right angles?
And is it just me, or are some of the lines a bit darker than others a la Kaipara vs Auckland? Any particular reason for that?

Thanks for the light blue for the lakes at te anau etc, makes it a lot clearer!

I still think it can't hurt to make the mountain borders between Mt.Aspiring and Milford & between Milford and Doubtful a bit clearer or more contrasting.
Again, I completely accept responsibility that it's my own mistake for not watching the map a bit more closely, but I forted troops to Aspiring not noticing it was a dead-end, so if it could be a bit more visible it couldn't hurt.

And then finally, I haven't heard it called Divisor before in maps? So I'm not sure if I'm understanding it correctly, but is it that 'you get troops for every 4 territories, not 3' (or however it's phrased in First Nations Maps -I think they're also 4? - etc?).
If there's space, that could be a more clear explanation possibly?

So, I have to drop at least 3 doods on Tiki-wiki-waka doods?

And, Tiki-wiki-waka doods do a posh maths thing 4 times?

So, if Tiki-wiki-waka belong to their region, then is their region a seperate thing then?

I suspect we may have had some random legend excess demands here - it's not normally a requirement to state neutral start values? Or, is this a new venture to prevent complex maps?

And, in response to airport whingers, they have nothing to complain about except either laziness or lack of brain - the airport connections are understandable without ambiguity.

Honestly, I think the gameplay looks good, and would really love to see this version uploaded. This really clears up confusion as to which airports belong to which region.

My only issue is that when yellow takes Te Awamutu Tiki it looks like a neutral. Other than that this map is good.

I'll update it when i'm ready and have have finished with uni stuff...Mar 17 is only 6 weeks ago...that's indicative of how long it takes the foundry and players to respond to some things.
