Hmm
It could be that you've omitted this from the top of the XML file:
- Code: Select all
<?xml version="1.0"?>
In any case, I've asked Premier2k to have a look at the XML for you and see if there's something else wonky
MrBenn wrote:Ok, I've had a look through the XML and have managed to get it to work - I took out some blank space from the top and bottom of the file, and did a find and replace to check for any trailing spaces on territory names etc.
The updated XML is here: http://www.fileden.com/files/2009/1/9/2259283/FirstNations.xml
While checking it over, I noticed that the continent bonus for 'Plains' is listed as 8 on the map, and 7 in the XML.
Having looked at both maps with 888s on, I think Chugachimiut could do with being made a little bit bigger on the small map - I'd tweak the top edge to remove the overhanging pink bit of Koyukon.
The other thing that might be worth doing, is to add a slight dark-gradient to Tillamook, so that the bottom edge is a shade darker; which will help reinforce that region border.

I added the space at the top just recently to see if that would make the part show up, that wasn't suppose to show up
I'll fix Chuga and Koyukon

Your search - Werthefuqarwes - did not match any documents

nothing to complain about?

---The Final Forge period has concluded for the First Nations of North America Map. All objections have had their time. The Foundry and I hereby brand this map with the Foundry Beta Brand. Let it be known that this map is now ready for BETA Play. After an extended period of time in BETA and once all quirks and issues have been resolved, the map will be put into Full Play (barring any Lack vetoes).
Conquer Club, enjoy!

There does seem to be quite a lag for a few maps that have reached this point (England, Austerlitz, Route 66), or that need an update, like Vancouver. I guess that is the price we pay for the Whac-A-Mod weekend.
EDIT: Sorry, my mistake, England and Route 66 have not got their Beta stamps yet. Still, it is hard to wait.
