Unless there are any major objections, I will do the numbers tomorrow (they are very easy to do).
I am going to split it into North Desert and South Desert
So they will be done like this in the game log:
North Desert 1
North Desert 2
...
North Desert 32?
South Desert 1
South Desert 2
...
South Desert 32?
(not quite sure on the top number for each section, but it will probably work out.)

How about a compromise: split the desert into 4 regions, with some names Age of Realms style, but number within them. It does make sense that larger regions within the desert might have names.

Thats jsut like feudal then with large regions broke down my numbers.

why not take a lesson from feudal?
number the desert territories by the oasis that they border?
for example:
Oasis of Life 1-13, Oasis of Strength 1-5, etc...

however lame it may be to quote myself, i feel like no one read this post, since the sentiment was repeated at least twice.
edit: why don't you just put up a poll?

Forget that part, I'm using made-up names now.
There were too many places to name with describing the area.
Made up names are fun, I'm throwing in a few that you guys might recognize (Inklo, Kaplo, etc)
Maybe there should be different bonuses for oases, there doesnt seem to be any reason to go for some of them. Especially the two on the ends.

Others seem kinda stupid, most notable Rawr. Please change that one...
Overall, I like it. The font is cool, and now that I see it all I just can't resist saying QUENCH!!
