Come one, come all, to Elric's Stealer of Souls, Terminator Shootout for SoC Students who have NOT already graduated! (SoC Training Style)
All current and past Under-Grads are welcome to join. Yes even you,
I have decided that there are not enough Lost Souls wandering the halls of the SoC Training Academy so have decided to lure in some more fresh blood from all over the SoC Training Fields.
As an instructor of the SoC Academy, I have been hosting my Stealer of Lost Souls (Terminator and Standard) games in the SoC Academy classrooms for a long time and am running out of sources of new souls, to feed my sword, so I am challenging you daring souls to come forth and risk your rank and title in a shootout where the winner will not only have bragging rights over the rest of the students but will receive a shiny new SoC Training Medal and 3 months CC Premium! The 6 players who make it to the final match will also be invited to do it all over again against the Grads and Teachers!
How will you stand against your fellow students on the battlefield?
Many souls will enter the battlefields, but only 1 will remain standing at the end of the tournament. Will that be you?
Game/Tourney details:
The tournament games will be setup and follow the SoC regular game settings.
Settings
Map - Classic
Players - 6 or 7
Game Type - Terminator
Play Order - Sequential
Troop Deployment - Automatic
Spoils - Escalating
Reinforcements - Unlimited
Fog of War - No
Trench Warfare - No
Round Limit - None
The format of the tournament will be as follows:
Round 1: Depending on the total number of participants I will set up 6 and or 7 player matches. All players with at least 1 kill get to advance to round 2
EDITED: Round 2: The winners and the next top Terminator(s) (By Kills, then by points gained for the kills) will advance to the next round ... Basically the one with the most kills will advance with the 5 winners to the Final Match ... in case of a tie the final will be played with 7 players ... if there are more players tied the tie-break is the # points received for your kills (not the total points awarded by the game scoring system ... I only add the +### pts ... not the negative amount when you were killed off)
EDITED: Round 3: Final Match .. will be played with 6 or 7 players advancing from round 2.
Final Match .. Winner takes the Medal and the Glory -- (All 6 or 7 of you will be invited to another tourney against the SoC Grads and Teachers!)
There should be three rounds total (maybe 4).
As last one standing you will be awarded an SoC Training Medal along with 3 months of CC Premium Membership. All those making it to the final table will be invited to represent their fellow students and take on the Grads and Teachers in another tourney following the same rules.
We are shooting for 72 entrants but final number of participants will be decided by you guys.
All players will have 48 hours to join their tournament games. Everything will be done possible to hold games from starting to allow Non-Premium players to be able to participate.
If a player has to be removed from a game due to not being able to continue, their soul will be retired from the tourney and the game will be reset including the players who accepted their invitations only ... after round 1 there will be no substitutions.
Premiums and freemiums are both welcome. If you're a freemium, please keep a spot open for your tournament game.
SoC Training Academy Students are requested to NOT post ANY tournament related games in their SoC classrooms.
