THE SOC MONTHLY REPORT


SoC Statement of the Facts:
The SoC Training Academy and its Training Advisers and Instructors are here to improve the quality of your gaming experience here at Conquer Club. We do this by providing basic game play instruction and understanding in basic escalating strategy to players, both new and experienced, and by facilitating experienced players from outside the Academy to share their knowledge with others through our forums and interaction in those threads.

History of the SoC
Before the SoC was formed the Conquer Club Game site was already a great new game site experience with MODs who dealt justly with any trouble makers here but it was a "Dog eat dog" environment somewhat. New members to this site regularly fell victims to the hunters of points who saw the newbies as easy prey. Not knowing all the "Tricks of the Trade" the new members blindly walked into games where they would be virtually eaten alive for their points. It was not an enjoyable process to the new comer.

Wacicha, saw what was happening and took it upon himself to mentor and instruct new players who in turn showed their gratitude by mentoring and instructing still others just joining the Fold. His first student was GloryorDeath and GloryorDeath also went on to instruct others in the basic strategy used by the SoC now known as the First 4 Moves. In this way the first seeds of the SoC were planted and the gaming Experience enriched and this site improved for everyone to enjoy as well.

At first this new group formed something like a clan for new members to learn this winning strategy (of survival) before engaging the old dogs of war in the battle field. But later this new movement grew into the SoC that we see today. To this extent are we, "The SoC," here, to give back up and support to the members of this site for the simple pleasure of playing that we all receive from this site and for the enjoyment that can only be achieved with the knowledge that comes from playing well.

SoC Student Shootout III just began with 96 players on May 29th 2013.



The tourney prize includes:
All the glory of beating your fellow students, SoC Medal for the event and 3 months CC Premium.

In other tournament news; The SoC Senior Shootout II just ended on May 22nd 2013. 49 warriors entered the Battlefields, only 1 slewed them all. The winner was Cyrenius. Congratulations on your victory, Cyrenius!

Until we get the special education classes going (lol), just remember that the first step is always the hardest.
