Many teachers are not even Sergeant and its above the average 1000 pts so.... But... only after 300+ games? That says more.

No, that's not good. But I can't tell why. I don't even know how much we can relate this to the SoC. I don't know your history. I notice that you're not a SoC graduate. Sergeant after 2 months playing may not be poor either. I was no better than you with and without the SoC.

You can't compare teachers to anyone. One teacher had a nick name for his nick name "Points donor's games". Ususally we should have been playing against high ranks and gain lots of points for winning. Instead low rank students gain a lot of points against us.

If you ask why we do it, I can speak only for myself. I was tired of having my games ruined by poor players. When the SoC offered me to become a SoC teachers I thought that this is my contribution to a better site. Instead of quit playing, I cultivate talented players.

Thanks to all I'm learning here in my SoC games -- I'm seeing quite a bit of rank improvement! Between 7/13 and 7/30, my low has been 1590, my average has floated right around 1700, and my high was 1841 back on 7/27. I've been fairly consistent at holding Lieutenant lately, but I'd like to get above 1800 again and hold Captain a little longer.

That's come up a long way since I was at 1129 on 5/25!
