I've learned a lot, and have valued your patience and comments. What a great gift you guys have given me

still have a lot to learn though especially very long , non-escalating games, and lots more maps ... ? ant places like SoC to help with that or should I join a clan and ask advice there?

I haven't posted for a while as oversubscribed over thanksgiving and have been working down my game numbers to get work done, but as a tourney started i'll still be be playing for a good while , so this seems like a good time.
Made it to major about 2300. think I was about 1400 when i started...

Application noted. Will get your games going soon.

We (the staff) talk about you behind your back for a few days and then decide whether or not to give you the medal and access to the grad lounge. You'll know soon.

You have completed all but one step before you get to have Final exams. Your maprank is at +174 right now, you need to bring that up a bit more to at least 300. pm me if you need help checking it.

I am currently at +347 on map rank for classic. and since dhallmeyer confirmed that I did in fact achieve lieutenant (I actually got up to captain a while ago, but back down to sergent 1st class now).

Do I qualify for my final exam?

I've made Lt and am pretty sure I've been in enough games but not sure about the points and such. And I just signed up for some more games that I'm not posting and am ready for those staff grad games any time.

You're almost there. you're at +230 right now, with 3 out of 12 games won. Keep at it for another week or two and you'll be there.

Hello,

I have played about 20 SoC training games and won at least 500 points, so I may be a little late to apply to graduation :)
I'd like to graduate now and continue with team training...

You're at +293. Your next kill should put you over the top.

 I realized later that you are talking about net points.
It should be over 300 now.

(After 293 points, I was eliminated by a newbie first, so it took some time to collect those points back :))

Your numbers look good. I'll submit your name to the staff for verification. Assume things go well, we should have your games up in a few days.

Let's see... I've posted way more than required, achieved rank of Lt a few times, even made captain once and gained way over 300 points while at it, completed way more than required..... Apparently I only need to play in the 2 final exam games to graduate, the way I read this soooo... How do we set these up? Just wait for the invite?

MGSteve, you are at (-157). Got a ways to go. You need to be at +300 to graduate.

Could you tell me how to find that? I downloaded map rank and used it, which led me to believe that I'd gone way up but... I obviously read it wrong.

It's possible I plugged in the wrong info. Especially after checking back a while and you were close then.

Here's how to do it: Go to the game finder. Select the following:
--Finished
--6 Player (you can add 7 here if you like)
--Standard AND Terminator
--Classic
--Auto
--Seq
--Esc
--Unlimited
--No Fog
--No Trench
--No Limit
--24 Hours
Don't specify Joinability (we want to see all games, public, private, and SoC together)
Don't specify Tournament
Don't specify Label
Enter your name in the "With Player" field

Click on Map Rank, not search. A new window will open to show you the stats.

A Ha! I have discovered the problem. If I only scan SoC Terminator games, MGSteve, you are at exactly +300. However, we have to look at the whole enchilada, so you do have a ways to go still. Keep plugging and you'll get there.

If you want to try and speed things up, and feel like you don't need to post all the time, you can try creating private games in the callouts forum, where you can play against others the same rank as you. Those games still count toward graduating, as long as they match our criteria.

Thanks Dhallmeyer; I did not know this either. I should be ashamed of myself. LOL.

But I can't figure something out. These are the games that I won...

111 Points for Game 10352767 Round 11
053 Points for Game 10476657 Round 11
115 Points for Game 10504135 Round 09
065 Points for Game 10775410 Round 12
114 Points for Game 10902804 Round 7
108 Points for Game 11122935 Round 10
466 in total win score.

My question is; Are points removed when I lose a game?

Because I don't see 466 points anywhere in the Map rank.
