Looking at a map it looks as though Mastics is on the right of Brookhaven and closer to the Hamptons. Also looks as though Medford is close to the centre of the island. How about Bayport? But someone that lives there would know more...

I am liking it MUCH better now....I think Patchogue would be fine instead of Quogues. Just a question on the Beaches, is Fire Island only linked to SE Brookhaven? It should definitly have a bridge link Babylon and Jones beach should have a bridge link as well to Massapequa.

That should be good enough for Fire Island, anything for Jones Beach?

I think the lighthouse is kind of fuzzy but over all I feel it rocks!
Anyone agree with the lighthouse thing?

not really, i smudged the bottom of the white lighthouse, so it would blend in more, but i think they are fine

I haven't looked in on this in a bit so I missed why you got rid of the boats. Could you explain your reasoning?

the boats were detracting from the look of the map, and they were not very necessary. there was a poll on whether to keep them or toss them, and "keep" only won by 1 vote, so i made the executive decission to try a version without the boats, and i thought it looked better without.

I can't work out how the North Fork & The Hamptons bonuses attack each other :-s

And are the lighthouses not all on the same body of water ?? I'm probably missing something here...

the north fork and the hamptons conned at riverhead and west hampton. there are three lighthouses on long island sound. the white light houses (those all can attack each other) and 3 on atlantic ocean (the tan ones) (those can attack each other

Traditional gameplay with the lighthouses as additional attack routes. That is all.

I think so. There is nothing wrong with a traditional straight up gameplay map.
