The latest map is this one:

I played with options to bring the territory count up from 27 to 32 today, but to no avail. The additional 4 territories are the little boat houses for each club. My options for more territories are breaking apart the land - there IS room in the green and blue areas for an extra territory each. There's also the bottom right corner, but I'm not sure. While a pod of animals, partially submerged, would probably look the best .. I wonder.

With a nautical theme, we could even go the direction of fishing instead of yachting, but I do not know if the area has such activities.

And since we are being told again and again that there is no need for a small map, is it worthwhile to continue?

if you can make it bigger, then I have an idea how to add territories without adding them actually...
make it one boat per club, but make the in boat as a playing field, with captains, workers, ppl on vocation and other thing that you can think of (or ask someone who actually understand something in boat because it ain't me  ).
Or you can do the same with the clubs...
give small bonuses on holding the whole boat (or the whole club) bigger bonuses for the continents...
just an idea...

Thanks

i know you are already far into the idea of this map but one idea might be to have all of long island

something like this

image

if you were to do this you could make all the land not part of long island grey, but keep the shapes of them for graphics. Also you could keep the same layout(without roads or anything (not like this map) and just keep the major areas) or you could and some highways in the map like the map of New York City and add more territories to the map that way.

Just one idea,

Yes, I do, but I mean that you have what, 20-something terts, and you really need more, so maybe you should re-vote, or make a poll.

Hi,

This map is going nowhere I'm sorry to say. I probably wouldn't play it.
I'm sorry to be so harsh but I think you need to hear the truth.

I have already commented that you need far more territories than you have and it seems those comments have been completely ignored. The number of territories is not enough and simply adding a "mega yacht" is simply not going to wash.

The graphics in my opinion are poor, I think you or the graphic 'artist' needs to go away and learn Photoshop from the ground up and get some basic skills onboard.

You say you voted against the inclusion of Long Island, when was this?, because I think that's exactly what you need! Adding Long Island will increase your territories and it's an area that people of actually heard of outside of the Hamptons! This would increase the number of interested people and raise the level of support.

Have a long hard think about what I've said. I'm not trying to be rude or dissuade you from continuing but you need to think about this maps future.

All right I will see if we can add the rest of long island...

That's the attitude to get more supporters!
Now, in all seriousness, this map needs to get off its ass, get more terts (Long Island), and have something special in the graphics for it to get anywhere.
