Getting friend to join, but may look like multi? [noted]

Hi all,
First up, great work to you guys keeping this site clean, you do an awesome job...
I'm trying to get a mate I work with to join, but thinking we could look like multis to you guys, cos we'll be playing from work (don't ask!) using the same proxy, and then when/if we do play from home, we both use work-supplied 3G cards, which draw from a limited pools of addresses. To make it worse, we may even use the same machine at times (a lab PC in the middle).
To start we'll prob only play doubles (same team) while I school him up - that should be cool right? And I guess later if we play each other we'll keep it to just us - no problem there.
Is this OK? Or shall I tell him to beat it? That's not a problem either, I would take great pleasure in fact...
cheers,
dave out...
PS: Is team strategy chat OK offline, or does that have to be in game chat too?
