Looks like djb2 and SFX! took advantage of the situation too. Cue violins and defences along the line of "I had no idea, it could have happened to anyone"...

He said he was giving up Conquer Club because he was so sick of how unlucky he claimed to be. He'd dropped from almost Brigadier to Sergeant 1st Class, apparently. When I saw he'd set up a load of speed games I asked him if he minded me joining some considering he was on a points drop, as I'd already beaten him a couple of times largely to do with luck. He told me to join them, then promptly suicided in every game. I looked through his other games and saw he was doing it in all of them and was setting up more and more until he became a Cook.

You don't really join 3 freestyle games at the same time if you think your opponent will play though.
You also joined 4 sequential games after that.
Plus you joined those sequential games after he already suicided in the 3 freestyle ones.

i think cc should make a rule stating that the person giving the points away is at fault.
these points would be going away regardless of who takes them.

Hello,
The most off my fellow conquer club players know me already.
I am an cc veteran and played a couple of years with lost of joy.
And yes its true I was throwing games away.
This is my story:
I complained and complained at the mods that somehow I have a terrible lag going on from the last months. I bought premium several times. I bought a product which worked fine at the start but started to work out terrible. So the product I bought is not the same as it should be. Mods answer: "probably something to do with your connection". Well its bullshit Mods!!!. My connection is great. Any other sites works fine.
So yes I cracked today. Besides having terrible rolls, a terrible lag appeared again. Somehow
when a lag appears I am getting terrible rolls.
Call it weakness of the mind but I cant stand the fact I am not getting descent answers from
the moderators. Where is the old conquerCLUB?
Besides I really don't understand guys like you dart. A true guardian off cc. Only looking at some facts which will bust me and lose my premium. Well done. I truly hope I made you happy by my foolish mistakes.
Grtz

djb & SFX should have their score reset, but as for the others, one game doesn't really matter for score changes (and that's a set precedent). Sad to see ya go, lua.

Let him come back, what he did was not sportive but he tried to make a statement. Europeans have complained a lot about the lag. Our $25.- is as mucht worth as non Europeans but our questions where ignored.

As co-clanleader i'd like to know if the suspension is going to be permanent and wether or not Luapie is going to be restored in his premium right?

If Luapie files an e-ticket, and follows the appropriate measures, his account may be restored in some capacity, since he has no history of Major/Severe Infractions.

Sorry, receiving stolen property is just as much a crime if you know its stolen. It justifies, enables and promotes the theft, and future theft.
The players knew that he was point dumping, made the point dumping happen. The points would not be going away as you say, if the people didn't join that knew he was point dumping....certainly not all of them would be, and much less would have been gone if they all reported him, instead of foolishly trying to take some points for their own game.
There's nothing to stop cheating like this, except the actions of honest players, who either boycott such actions....or pay the price of trying to steal some points.
SFX and especially Djb2 got off very lightly here, given the number of points involved....Im assuming its because they actually didnt realize it was expressly against the rules.....though I imagine they had to have known it was not completely kosher.
