i believe the sentiment is to change the names or get rid of them as twill used to do... just because they are banned, doesn't mean the names are no longer offensive... right? afterall, this is a family friendly site! what if jr. decides to do a search for Nightstrike, and stops with "N...I...G..."? boom, he runs out the room to his mom, and lack loses 25 bucks... um, or something like that...-0

A valid point - of course - if they are removed - then they can also come back...

I suggest the ability to ban and hide the usernames from the search would be better...

Don't mean to sound like a downer, but I can't see why these sorts of usernames wouldn't be deleted permanently and their IPs go on the ban list for the site. No-one in their right mind could argue that allowing users that choose names such as those are good for business. It's a bad decision to let them stay in any form IMHO.

Keep in mind that this isn't the real world where "basic human rights" extends to insluting the hell out of others. This is a business and a community. If the community, or the leader of the community, thinks that this sort of behaviour is inappropriate, then there is no reason why removing these names should be disdained or frowned upon. This isn't the elimination of a person, nor is it a government cover-up - it's an attempt to build a community that is free of jackasses

One of these days we might as well see a "das nigger CUNT" coming along...

Yes it is an inappropriate name.

Since you found is so offensive I wonder why you used it in the title and with CAPS.

And why wouldn't CC code it so some words cannot be used. They could.

as LV said these cases have been handed to the admin for them to do their thing with. Marking these as pending so the community knows it is being dealt with.
