this new member lost his game. then he rated us all one's and tagged us rude, clueless, and more.

as you can see in game chat he said nothing. at all to us.

Guy probably doesn't understand the ratings system

I would say you're correct that he just doesn't understand the scoring system except for the fact that he made all sorts of blistering accusations in his tags of all the other players. Looks like he intentionally gave poor ratings because he is a sore loser.

May i reference this thread viewtopic.php?f=239&t=97365 to what I said in regard to new people and the ratings system.
However one game is not enough evidence for ratings abuse.
It was said when the new ratings system came in that mods aren't going to deal with every ratings response. Its up to you guys to contact those to find out why and if you would like them changed.

since you are cleaning up the spam in the forums are you also going to deal with accusations like this that take time away from actual C&A threads that have merit? thank you for your time and your response.-0

Hey CC & LV. So your supporting this players obvious ratings abuse & his right to abuse it INSTEAD of dealing with it now. You will see another complaint in re of this in a few more games.

Way to nip it in the bud & supporting and policing the rating system you have in place.

How about King a or King Sam take a look at this one.

Well I will say this much. We all have a job to do as Mods, and yes we do look at all cases but some are not strong cases.
Yes, the rates could have been better. But it is not our job to tell another player what to rate. That would defeat the purpose of said player rating what he feels he should, or it could just be lazyness on the players part. As said earlier, contact the player and see what there response is. If that doesn't work, then just foe them.

Yes it isn't your job to tell who to rate who what. But this, as you and LV have stated, wasn't proper use of the rating system.

I myself have already foed him.

have to admit, that was a pretty poor response from one of the new mods...-0

2 games in and has given 4 negative ratings for 8 players played. Seems like a fast negative start. Hopefully there was at least a pm to that player.

LV & Eatfree only suggested to targetman that he deal with this himself and foe him if no satisfaction is found. This didn't even warrant a note.

I have already said this because this is a new player one game of ratings is not enough to warrant 'abuse'. The correct method if you feel your rating was unfair is to pm the player to ask for it changed. Only in extreme cases will us mods step in. I have sent a friendly pm to Alloula informing him of the correct way to rate people.
