About that world 2.1 game we're playing. I think it'd be best if we stop attacking eachother. You can have South-America, and leave me North. It's either that or we'll get raped hard...
You can add terms if you want. If we can get to an agreement, I will post something about me not attacking you in the game.

If he makes the deal in game chat it would be ok. But be sure not to respond via pm to this message. But this player will only be warned unless he has a history of it. Thanks to th OP for reporting this attempted cheat.

It is wrong to do this, he does look to have a slight bit of honour saying that he would post in game chat, however the PM would class as secret diplomacy to me, but only on his part, not entirely sure of the guidelines for this though...

Why not discuss terms in the game chat? Is there some advantage using PMs or something?

The advantage of using pm's is called SECRET DIPLOMACY

If your going to put it in the chat anyway, why not discuss your agreement in the chat? Isn't that one of the reasons its there?

Any form of diplomatic discussion between opponents must be posted in the game chat.

You discuss it in the game chat so everyone else in the game is aware of a truce or a coordinated attack. If you do that at least it's not secret...........get it?

Let him off easy. He's a new player, probably not very familiar with the rules. Warn him to let him know.
