Bringing the site and game into disrepute, baiting, advertising/promoting other sites, flaming and character assassination.

By advertising he/she/its twitter thread/twitter cast/tweets, (whatever the tweeter nonsense is called)

checked his twitter and is cyber-bullying but hell thats off this site hes one a 1-monther so he has like 2 weeks left

But using his CC homepage to advertise it. So if it isn't flaming, is advertising flaming, and promoting twitter.

what a douchebag, he should be banned from the site because most people would want him to be off the site stuff like this should be decided democratially through voting...

Well heck, the guy's C&A thread accusing him of being a multi was never ruled on and yet it was mysteriously moved to the closed forum (without actually being...you know...closed).

So, I notice this has gone to pending. The thing is he is cyber-bullying, but it's off this site, so you can ban him from here, but he will most likely just create yet another multi, a different persona, and continue to trash people and make a mockery of the site. He will be gone from here, but the people who read his twitter may be discouraged to come here, but he has a right to express his views of people, especially on a social bookmark/critique style site. As much as we would all like him gone, what can C.C. really do to change the trashing of this site and off site cyber-bullying?

Saying the site sucks, and the people on it are suck-y isn't going to stand up in any court, neither is his blatant disregard for C.C. rules. His cyber-bullying is bloated, it's more like player harassment, in which he continuously picks on the same 5-7 people by calling them gay/troublemakers/changing their usernames/etc. I suppose if saxitoxin were going further than just harassing players, then something could be done. But I don't even think anyone reads his twitter, I had a peak and was surprised he hadn't called me a homosexual yet.

Yea, his huge following must be killing CC. I'm sure people who may be interested in joining CC think to themselves "Hm. I wonder what a random person on Twitter thinks about this site, let's google it and find out."

This is familiar to Wicked/IPH's joke of a blog. The people who WANT to read it will read it, otherwise it has absolutely zero effect on anything.

If it's in the public domain then it does fall under the laws for defamation, at least in the USA and I think also in the UK. There have been a few news stories about people being sued for their comments on such sites. But then it is only defamation if it would damage the sites reputation in the eyes of an average person. But then I don't think I can really be bothered to find out what he has been twittering!

I believe on a public domain, U.S. law can be transferred to Canada or vice versa if residents from either country wish to press charges against one another. It's not worth checking his twitter it's not even the least bit comical, and I suppose if lack wants to hire a lawyer and sue the guy for the 25 bucks to his name, you're right, he can go ahead and do that.

Still waiting, this must be a super hard case for the CC crime sleuths.

After deliberating with the other administrators, the most that we can do is remove saxitoxin's signature in connection with your complaints with his twitter comments, which, on a side note, are not even personal or reveals any private information. These posts in his own his twitter page is really his privilege as a twitter member and we do not have any jurisdiction or control of what goes on in that site, and vice versa. For those concerned, you always contact twitter's customer support and voice out your concerns regarding his twitter entries.
