I do NOT want mpjh stripped of his position as a mod, however, I do want to bring to light the double standard of the moderating on this site. The rules only apply to some, and not all. Based on precedent, he should probably be banned for a month, but I think 24 hours is more appropriate. And it shouldn't go into some escalating system either, just a 24 hour ban and that's it. No record of it, or any of that.

Otherwise, please consider lightening up on all of us, so if one of your mods can "break" the imaginary and secret rules, we should all be allowed to.

ps. mpjh, I can dish it out as well as I can take it, but you'd have me banned, wouldn't you? So you can bait me like that with no consequence, is that it?

Ah, because this was a response to a post about keeping shotgun ammunition in inventory to kill "zombies," I think the post was consistent with the humor of the thread.

I've been banned for far less, and while being consistent with a joke.

But I'm not a mod...

It wasn't a flame, it wasn't designed to irritate. I was a comment trying to lighten up the zombie comments.

Frankly, you guys are a bit over the edge on this mod thing. However, I will gladly resign my mod status if Optimus Prime thinks it necessary -- I could use the free time.

I'd really rather you just advocate for the mods to lighten up on all of us.

I have provided the same argument you're providing here as to why I shouldn't have been banned for spurious reasons (mostly from Night Strike) on numerous occasions.

Actually, pimp, if you thought is was a reasonable argument vis-a-vis your posts, then you must find it reasonable here. Isn't this a bit of sour grapes? Shouldn't you be dealing with your treatment and not trying to extend the alleged unfairness to others?

If you have a problem with a particular member of Team CC, please contact that member via PM and try to sort out the situation. If that does not work, please contact Optimus Prime, as he is the Volunteer Coordinator and will look into the issue.
