Conducting Secret Diplomacy (via a foreign language)

Comments:

According to http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=57&t=23626&p=581841&hilit=foreign+language#p581841,

"There is actually a precedent where players tried to get around the no secret alliance rule by declaring it in some other language (I think danish) and that isn't allowed.

If it looks like an alliance, and there's no declaration you can understand, deal with it the same way you would any secret alliance."

I did a quick google search, and figured out they were speaking in Portuguese.

grow up!

they made the alliances in english. the talks they had in portuguese weren't that relevant.

I do not speak gibberish but it does appear to have relevance to the game/truce. It is not allowed. BUSTED.

Rule #2: No secret diplomacy

Any form of diplomatic discussion between opponents must be posted in the game chat in English or in a language that all opponents understand. Diplomacy includes, but is not limited to: proposing truces, negotiating alliances, and coordinating assaults

Yes, they made a truce before they spoke in a non-English language. However, in respect to what is written in our Secret Diplomacy rule, both have been reminded of it.
