Yes.

Kotaro wrote:As for removing you, do it yourself. I am not, nor will I ever be, here to serve you. Anyone who doesn't know how to remove themselves, may freely PM me for directions how to.

Kotaro wrote:This is in no way abusing, this is (at worst) "annoying", with no intent involved.

A - half quoting me is assholish.

B - There is, and I checked (after I did it, not very smart, but whatever) the forum guidelines, and the various create/join comp/social clan guidelines. You stated that there was a situation in the past where this was warned. I however, will not take a BS warning for this. There is no guideline, no rule, no ANYTHING stated against this. If there was, I would not have done it.

C - As you quoted, I have offered, and already been taken up on that offer, to teach people how to remove themselves from usergroups should they ask for that help.

D - As I stated (taking out the religious joke I threw in about Feudal War being equal to Jesus Christ of Nazeruth):
I am spreading the word of Feudal War, and offering to everyone the express, innermost knowings of the entirity and strategy of the most epic, of epic maps.

As you stated in this thread, and others have already commented on, the idea behind my group was great, yet because you weren't invited, you refused to stay. Yet this whole situtation was a giant invitation, to a large body of the community, to come and learn Feudal. Even some experienced players do not know how to play; I have added a subsequentially large amount of players, who now have access to discussions, and soon walk-throughs, of Feudal War, and later Feudal Epic. This is no different then the ad-hoc group, except that I do not descriminate against users that wish to add to this project.

E - I don't really think this report was needed, as every moderator was invited at once. However, this did give me a chance to add my own side of the story, and +1 to my post count (yay?).

Also, one last thing.

By segregating the usergroups and the competitive clans, you have sent the social usergroups to hell. Some of my best CC friends did not even know of this clans existence before today, and not for lack of spamming links. However, since I am only allowed to do that in my own games and in Live Chat (once per screen), CC has severely discriminated the usergroups that are Social to the stone age.

Whether the clan is good or bad isn't what is at question the fact remains that kotarto brought many players, myself included, into a clan without permission from any of these players. It obviously wasn't just one or two incidental players it was en mass. snorri had only changed players avatars but he was banned from heading a clan for 6 months I believe kotarot's crime was much more blatant and his punishment should justify this fact. I think kotexo should be perma-banned from leading a clan but still allow to donate his $25 per year if this is what he wishes to do.

I don't know what you lot are getting bent out of shape for. Just go to the control panel and click the usergroups tab, then select resign group at the bottom and click submit, it's hardly rocket science.

Thank God. Now I know I missed something; I could have sworn I reviewed every player I was adding, and there was no hiddendrafailureatlife on the list.

And perhaps you could show me where I abused any rule. Any. Pick 1. Maybe 2.. but you won't get 1.

I have to admit that this is very amusing.

But if I were to say (hypothetically) that I don't think you should be allowed to do this, and that if everyone were allowed to do it, my life would consist of one extra chore every day (removing myself from all the user groups that I'd been dragged into without my permission)... anyway, if I were to say that I would not approve of such a situation - would you attack me in our city mogul game right now?

Sorry Kotaro... this is sorta messed up. Thanks for finding the loophole so that it can be fixed... clearly people should need to add themselves to user groups, and other people should not be able to add them without consent... why the hell isn't this the case already?

So... does this mean you are going to hate me and attack me in the city mogul game?

How can finding an extra forum on your board index possibly be 'well annoying'? Did the Society of Cooks popping up in the General subdirectory stick in your craw? How about the addition of Clans as a separation of the competitive clans from the usergroups in Callouts?(No need to answer Kotaro, you've stated your opinion on this quite categorically already)

So you got a little surprise when you reviewed the board index this morning, get over it already. Even if you don't play Fuedal War just treat it as an opportunity to pick up some tips you might not otherwise have the opportunity to learn. If it really bothers you that much, leave the group, if Kotaro adds you to the Feudal usergroup again, then and only then will you have a case, until such an incident occurs you're just filling the C&A forum with reactionary spurious whining motivated(for the most part) by personal animosity.

Step back and get some perspective FFS!

To be fair, snorri got banned for changing some usergroup settings (for a similarly minor annoyance), so a little consistency might not be too much to ask for.

YOU DIE NOW. Wait... I need that win <_<?

Snorri got banned for massive adding of 90+ pages of users to one group, forcing them all to stay (setting the group as their default), and then changing their avatar.

I've added 1/50th of that member count, changed no one's avatar, forced no one to stay, and even taught 3 people how to leave.

i shouldnt have to deal with this...esp as a paying member of a community...the moving around of the forums served a practical use of seperating two different areas of a site (clans and callouts) and the moving of society of cooks to a better place for new members. putting me in a usergroup i dont want to be in is nothing like this...if the admins on this site think its good to have this then they can put a sub forum in the main forum for all to see
if i dont want to have the hassel of being in a certain usergroup i shouldnt have to take the 5 seconds to remove myself.
its inappropriate, rude, childish, and undenyable amateurism.

Precisely just how grievous is this 'transgression' supposed to be? You make it sound like he just killed your Grandmother!

Get some perspective, it took you 5 seconds to remove yourself from the usergroup with a couple of clicks of the mouse, it hardly required a herculean effort. Again, you've only got a complaint here if he does it AGAIN after you've already made it clear you've got no interest in that group.

I wouldn't bother, Artimis. He's 20 and plays X-Box live, says his profile, so I highly doubt he has left his mothers basement yet.

Oh, and my Lord of Lordy Lords, please quote the rule that says I can't do exactly what I just did.

This used to be in the rules but I cannot find it right now.

Any abuse of a privilege will mean that it will be removed. This has happened before in both adding members, changing avatars etc. Kotaro should expect that he will be removed from the leader position and that he will not be allowed to lead another group. Unless there is a new leader who wants to run the group, don't be surprised in this case if that group is completely deleted.

I'm more interested to see if Kotaro will survive the wrath of lack for possibly annoying the turtle.
