Yeah this guy got a little out of hand...

Before you say "Just foe/ignore and move on", I want to add that I have already done that, but He's trying to manipulate the game after I have prevented myself from reading such sophomoric comments...

I wasn't in this game but I was watching it cause i got bored lol and he really did not need to be saying that abusive comments in the chat box. Don't know if he has done it in another games but this guy needs to be warned seeing that he is new.

and he suicided on me when i had 15 troops and no cards... i say permanent vacation for that offense alone...

to the gamers in said game, I am sorry for my humor as it was crude and meant only to spice things up. It was inapporpriate but all in fun. Godsav personal appologies to you as well. blue... you still make me laugh. i just wont play negames with you or becky. i dont believe me attacking your army is grounds for getting banned, though foolish on my part i did weaken your army.

i saw the forum that he posted, though it made me laugh, I do sincerely apologize to the ppl in the game and you. His last post about suiciding to attack him though true is no grounds for abuse. I wanted him out of the game so i attacked him. That is not cheating though cheap. Again though, I do apologize to you and everyone in the game for my crude humor that is meant for nothing more than to spice up the game. i did try posting on the forum an apology but it wasnt working. if you wanna pass this along for me id appreciate it. Again sorry, and look forward to games in the future with you, just not blue.

I do think that if he is willing to apologize then you should just let it go. I see he has played under 100 games and is new so maybe now he just knows that he should not do that. Thats just my personal opinion. I think you should just let him go.

Don't worry your not going to get banned for attacking an army.

It's not that bad... it's just a little trash talk(If it's even that offensive). Serious case of foe and rate accordingly. Get a grip, foul language is used throughout the world, I can't imagine how berserk you people go when someone says "f*ck you" for whatever reason. What'd you guys just run down to the police station and tell, or do you go home suppress the anger and lash out on your families? If you don't like the way a player talks in game Foe them and rate them accordingly, don't bitch and whine about how "he saided teh bad wwurdz."

being as you two are only teenagers i guess it needs explaining...

grown ups don't like people insulting them...

and just because i put you on foe doesnt mean you're not still insulting me to other people in the game chat...

he made a bad attack and i made a joking comment about it...

then he flipped out and started going insane like a kid home from school in the summer with too much time on his hands...

then suicided me...

trust me phinson... i said nothing to you compared to what 99% of the people that play standard freestyle games would have said after the initial attack on me...

tired of seeing people being told to foe and give a neg. rating and move on...

truth is it is upsetting to have to play a game with someone like that... and to know that even though you've foed them they are still continuing to assault you in the chat after you've foed them...

it IS just a game and as such i shouldnt have to sit for an hour and have someone act like a 5 year old in a game that btw HAS MODERATORS that can penalize them but chose not to...

people don't care what they say cause they dont care if they get foed... i sure as hell don't care if someone foes me...

too many brats in this room ruining it for others and a few "timeouts" will absolutely solve the problem...

its not that hard to instead of saying " foe and give neg rating " to say " you're penalized a week, have a nice day " ...

so why doesn't it happen?

Since you seem to have some sort of self-entitled adulthood, grow up. No one gives a rats ass what you think about brash language. That little ensemble of garbage was a waste of time and made no sense, it just showed that you're an immature forty-year old virgin living in your mom's basement. If you're so big on slamming it to "teenagers" how come you can't handle a little bit of foul language? You're a very incapable minded person to think that your cowardice needs explaining. Clearly you're not a grown up, and have a lot of growing up to do. Nobody likes being insulted, you need to live with the fact that there are people out there who are jerks like yourself, you can't be the only one. If you put them on your foe list that's the end of it, you will never be in a game with them again, and you don't have to deal with it. If you're so big on being a "grown up" you should know that the best way to deal with the "offensive" trash talk is to just ignore it or to ask them politely to stop, not go crying to mommy mod and begging for a ban. You're quite possibly in the top-25 list of most "ignorant players" on this site. It would appear that you need the time out of ignorance and should go back to english class as well. Take control of your life, take some time off from the game and do some soul-searching, grow up(even if it's a little, it all helps) and come back. This is a game, if you don't like it don't play it. Trash talking is allowed and clearly you don't understand that, that's all it was. Further, they even apologized, for something which you made clear that you started, if you can't handle it you shouldn't have started it. You may have thought you were joking but not everyone hears your tone of voice on an online game, they obviously took you seriously. Grow up and accept the apology in the mean time. I can almost guarantee that this player will get nothing more than a warning(Assuming this is one of the first offenses). Your case is beyond a waste of moderator time, you want them to waste time of their already busy schedule to "timeout" players who "offended" you. Really now, I may be a teenager but you have the mindset of a four year-old.

Do you know the meaning of slander? I don't think you do, you show that you don't. As for your "normal people" crap, no one is normal there's no such thing. Feel free to foe me all you want, or you can be the "grown up" and ask me to stop making you look like an idiot and proving you wrong nicely, and I will stop. I don't talk about people behind their backs like you, I only respond to them, as they speak, with my view. I have no problem with telling someone that I don't like them or they are clearly wrong, like in this instance. Grow up kiddo, remember what we talked about. the main reason ppl trash talk is to get under ones skin.

I am 19 which means im a teenager, but I also have my own apartment, i pay my own bills, i have a full time job, Im in college and am very involved. Id say I am fairly mature for my age because I do not know many teenagers who can handle all this and a full workload in school.
I may not be an adult by your standards, but as far as the United States government is concerned, I am.

Since you mention "real life"...part of it goes back to the anonymity of the internet. Some people seem to believe that this anonymity gives them the right to be far more offensive than they would ever consider being in real life, because of the lack of accountability. I'm not of the opinion that accountability is a bad thing, so I do believe there should be some censure for situations when it does get out of hand.

Now in this particular case, the apology DOES change the situation in my mind. If it's sincere and not just an attempt to avoid any punishment.

If the behavior continues, then it's obviously not sincere. Future actions are really the only way anyone can ever know if ANY apology is sincere or not.
