MarcS/Mr T-Rex [noted]

Accused:

MarcS
Mr T-Rex
NeleL

The accused are suspected of:

Being Multis
Conducting Secret Diplomacy
Other: These 3 joined on the same day, and have been taking part in games with each other the past few times.....& on july 7th log in times were 9:25 am for marcs... 9:04am for mR T-rex... & 9:18 am for NeleL..co-incidence?
It doesn't look like it to me! In this particular game over the last few rounds they've been avoiding attacking each others borders when they're right next to each other and have left those borders unprotected, yet against other players, particularly myself they have both been attacking and leaving large numbers on the borders...definitely fishy to me. Would like someone to really check these two out.

Game number(s):

Game 5176284
[game]xxxxxxx[/game]
[game]xxxxxxx[/game]
[game]xxxxxxx[/game]

They also post right after one another in defense:

2009-07-06 10:13:02 - NeleL: What? Are you just angry because i kicked you out of the game?
2009-07-06 10:13:48 - MarcS: huh? are you saying this because you are losing? i'm only attacking the biggest threats...

This would be easier if we could see the armies, are there any instances in which one has the other and could clearly kill them, but hasn't. Also, I'm too tired to investigate, so, jefjef get to work.

And they play right after each other, last time in the game in question they Mr T-Rex played 23 seconds after MarcS, the turn before that 2 mins 45 seconds, turn before that 6 seconds and NeleL in the same game is beginning to look suspicious as well, he has played in a few games with the other 2 as well, out of all the other players on conquer club they keep finding the same games? Hmmmm!

Six seconds is kind of pushing it. You have to have fast internet, good typing skills, and clicking skills.

Um... Two tabs in the same browser is the same user, I do it all the time to view games and post here. Maybe you meant browsers? And sounds like you're familiar with that too.

Familiar? Dunno about that, basically only found out yesterday that I could log into Conquer Club on Mozilla, then go to File (top left on Mozilla ) then click new tab, enter conquer club into search bar again, search, conquer club would come up and I could play any of my games from this new tab whilst maybe typing a PM or a message on here, so familiar? I suppose so, although maybe I did mean new browser!!
I used to be registered to another site similar to this called Grand Strategy and for the pair in question and the reason for this thread it was relatively easy for the moderators to find out if 2 players were infact the same person or if they had been sending messages to one another and agreeing secret alliances, if I remember correctly, either offence would cause the account(s) to be banned.
Whether it's as easy on this site to do the same, I don't know, I've played nearly 900 games now and whilst I know players do leave borders and bonuses unprotected from time to time because they are aware of bigger fish to fry in relation to the game, the behaviour of these two ( possibly three ) was strange enough to make me start a thread in here. I don't post much and don't make it a point of accusing players of having more than 1 account or having secret alliances a lot but I just feel there is probably enough evidence to warrant a quick investigation.
I'm not that fussy , I'm only going to lose the game and some points but MarcS and Mr T-Rex will be going on the foe list that's for sure. My experience of C/C and my thoughts tell me there's something not quite right with these 2 and the game I'm involved in with the pair of them, if I'm wrong so be it, I'm big enough and ugly enough to handle it, I've told them what I think they're up to, I've attacked them during the game through the borders they leave weak and are coincidentally next to each other, so it's up to whoever it is that can investigate these type of things to do so if they feel there is a case to answer,in my opinion I think there is.....that's all!

NeIeL, MarcS and Mr T-Rex have just taken their turns:

2009-07-07 10:42:41 - NeleL received 1 troops for holding ?
2009-07-07 10:50:07 - NeleL ended the turn and got spoils
2009-07-07 10:55:41 - MarcS received 2 troops for holding ?
2009-07-07 10:59:28 - MarcS ended the turn and got spoils
2009-07-07 11:00:02 - Mr T-Rex received 4 troops for holding ?
2009-07-07 11:04:46 - Mr T-Rex ended the turn and got spoils

I'm not so sure about the first player being in on it, however, after a gap of 17 hours no play all three turn up at the same time and take their turns in 22 mins!! Has to be something up here surely?

Next time I won't bother flagging up strange behaviour in games, too much pedantry for my liking, is it normally like this?
All I want to know is as a paying member is it possible to find out if you are being cheated against and if the two in question are cheats, their behaviour and recent played games is enough to suggest there is something suspicious.......So, to reiterate, as a paying member is it possible to find out if I'm being cheated against?
Any chance of a definitive answer on this anytime soon? as I really don't want to descend into slanging matches and bitchy comments and the like- a simple yes or no will suffice!

Many thanks

Scott.

NeleL isn't listed in this complaint but appears as though she should be............ YES.. with the time logs of the 3 it looks as though you are onto a cheat..

Well thanks for that. so what happens now? It is my turn to play in this game and I'm reluctant to play it now, I was in a reasonable position until the unholy trinity served out their evil doings upon me.......
I've already added all 3 to the foe list.
I say Tar and Feather then chop off their fingers!

PLAY the game............... If you are correct they will be booted from it..... Take full turn time........ You are ganged up on (last I looked). Slow down the pace of the turns.......... & go back into your complaint & add 3rd player to it..............

Seems to me that they all know eachother, saw some dutch chat in other games.
But playing like this is a secret alliance, not allowed

Rule #2: No secret diplomacy

Any form of diplomatic discussion between opponents must be posted in the game chat in English or in a language that all opponents understand. Diplomacy includes, but is not limited to: proposing truces, negotiating alliances, and coordinating assaults. Secret diplomacy can be hard to prove, but if you suspect it you should leave the players in question appropriate ratings. If you feel certain about players engaging in secret diplomacy consider reporting them in the Cheating & Abuse Reports forum by posting a new topic.

I've seen that xabigerrard has missed his turn.
When I look at the logs, I see that xabigerrard and enormastitz almost never attacked each other, I guess I could suspect them of being alliances too and from the moment enormastitz was defeated, we were accused of playing together. Coincidence?
For the record : Mr T-Rex, myself and NeleL are indeed friends, but we were never playing against the other two players and I find it sad of being accused. Anyway - with this game, we now have got the idea of indeed playing together as a team anyway and started a new game. So thanks for the idea.

at first green had the most bonusses, they went for him. Think thats very normal.

When they went for green it was red who became very big with the bonusses, so they went for you. Also very normal.

All 3 accounts signed up same day... Within a few minutes of each other.... July 7th log in times were 9:04 am for MrT-Rex.... 9:18am for NeleL..... 9:25 for MarcS... TYPICAL MULTI activities........ & now they r in a trips match together.................. ................... ;) Anyway - with this game, we now have got the idea of indeed playing together as a team anyway and started a new game As per MarcS posting they have gotten the idea of playing together anyway as a team.

Waooooow jefjef.... You're a big boy now!!!!!

MarcS used the word "anyway" badly because English is not his native language. As I make mistakes in English because it is not my native language. But using that as an argument like you do..... that's lame.

JefJef, grow up.

Yeah it would be normal Masli, except, T-Rex held decent bonuses as well and as far as I could make out when I broke through them, all his borders adjacent to that of MarcS had 1 army defending them, and I reckon that had been the case for most of the game, of course reckoned isn't proof but I'm pretty well up on my maths and I could see any deployments they had were either going in to attacking me, defending against me or doing the same against green.
Looks like co-ordination to me, and I certainly wasn't informed about it in the in game chat.
Anyway, I'm down to one tert left in this game and it is my turn so, I was wondering if this case has actually been proven yet or not before they do take me out and I lose the points....

His words.. Not mine... Why so childish Mr T? Get caught? You all signed up the same day.. two of ya the same exact time.. The other within minutes... Your game play time stamps are TYPICAL of MULTI CHEATING......Game play by you & marcs smells of team work for sure.............. Your "defense" is english not your native tongue? LAME. Now WHO are you really????????????????
