ike500 - Missed Turns abuse? [Cleared]

Postby Supreme_Pookie on Fri Jun 19, 2009 4:35 pm

Game 4971416

ike500

The accused are suspected of:

Missing too many turns.

In the first 17 rounds ike500 has missed 5 turns- 4 in the last 5 rounds alone!
the 5th round, 8th, 13th, 14th, 16th and 17th.
What is the critria for too many missed turns, because this case seems clear?

Game 4971416

Members are kicked out of the game after 3 missed turns in a row. If you think a member is purposefully missing turns to try to gain an advantage, you can leave them the appropriate ratings/tags. ike500 is cleared of abusing his turns.

I don't think the auto-kick is enough. A lot of players use deliberate turn missing to gain surprise armies that can be deployed in unexpected places. This is using cheap tactics in an attempt to compensate for their poor strategy. Some players group together and use this turn-missing tactic to ensure that one of their group wins.

Getting deferred armies is stupid and should be scrapped or at least limited. I know this may be unfair to players who miss turns through no fault of their own, but the rule should be 'You snooze, you lose'.
