He's clearly being a prick but it's not cheating. It's what you'd refer to as a lame tactic (delaying the blatantly obvious victory for minor things like conquering all the map, building a set ammount of men... etc...)

The problem with accusing someone of delay of game is that you may feel they are purposefully delaying a game that you've already given up on, but they may feel they are just being careful with their troops and not giving their opponent a chance to get lucky.

That being said, this is excessive. Over 90% of the map and a force of more than 10x your men parked right next to you. You've not asked him in game chat about it?

Of course not. I figured it would just give him the satisfaction, and then he'd delay for sure. Being careful? You know, and I know that's bull. If he doesn't close it out this round, he should be punished.

You and I know that in this game it is bull absolutely hun, but in a typical game people may play with 3 men on each of their territories, or 5 or 6 or 7 depending on their growth. Nobody "has" to leave a string of ones.

That being said, this is a lame tactic but it's not a punishable offense. You'll probably just be asked to place him on your foe list and not have to play with him again. As for not mentioning it to avoid the satisfaction... getting a confirmed response from him would be nice. Let him know it's gone too far and he should end it. Actually I will.

it's not breaking a rule. best you can do is foe him, leave an appropriate rating, and move on. mods aren't gonna do anything about this.

I thought there was a rule against being "intentionally annoying"? This would absolutely fit that bill.

if that was true, a lot of members of CC would be breaking that rule.
not to mention, that rule can be twisted. for example, "herpes is intentionally annoying because he keeps holding onto the conqueror rank". whoever uses that argument won't get anywhere, but the fact is, you CAN still use it.

As it seems that this is an isolated incident and shanksdigs did not strand you there for very much time (less than four rounds), I will mark this [Noted] for now. If any other incidents of this do arise, then the situation will be dealt with at that time.
