This guy and Masli are obviously pals - and have played multiple games together. All this aside.... there may have been no pm's going or anything else in private - but anyone who knows arms race can relate to this. I and another player had over 100 men combined left with Masli on one side by himself. Imcjb - whether he was tired with the game or just wanted to help his friend win - decides to blow his (not exactly sure how many) roughly 75 guys ripping through I and the other player - giving no one a chance to win now. Given his rank - he HAD to know it was absolute suicide. To make it official.... he deadbeats beginning with the very next turn. This kind of stuff makes this game not worth playing. I have never ever issued a complaint in this forum - but when a major pulls something like this it makes me wonder if I can only play fair games with the few people I know on here. IF for nothing else I hope this gets him foed by many.

Poor Hacx5nine, losing your colonel hat must have upset you. Anyhow, let me refute your somewhat askew allegations.

Firstly, I did not suicide. After you missed a turn in the final rounds, with green deadbeating out and missed turns happening everywhere, Iassumed that you too had given up so I made a run up top with my 45(not 75 as you claim) to take President and move to launch code and see if I can get a run at the missile. This ultimately was unsuccessful.

You say that this move made sure that no one else could win. Teal already had the missile launch bonus by this stage and you were content just building on your bunkers as you had all game. At no stage in the game did you communicate to the other builders in the USA, namely blue and I, about how to resolve this situation resulting in a stalemate.

I acknowledge that I've played games with Masli in the past and have some familiararity with both his personality and his gameplay. As you put it yourself, there is a degree of comfort derived from playing games with people that you know.

Basically, you contributed to your loss by your strategy of building early game, building, mid game, and even when Masli had the Missile bonus you continued to build...thus negating any high percentage strategy that blue or I could have applied thus the low percentage move.

While part of what you said is quite true...you also left a lot out there imcjb. Now, I only saw so much of what was happening behind the fog of war, but it was pretty apparent to me that you suicided at the end there. At least, that is just what it looked like. I watched what you took and how you took it. Your moves were not in any way, shape, or form in a manner that showed thought towards winning. It was a move to deliberately take out any major threats on one side of the board.

At that point in the game, such a move was foolhardy, especially as Masli (whom I'm not accusing of anything here) had just gotten a massive 60-something men deployed. You made sure one side of the board was extremely weak, setting Masli up for the win. The turn prior to yours, mine, I bombarded Masli trying to stop him from getting that 50 bonus, yet you destroyed my bonuses completely. From what I saw, it did look like a throwing of the game to Masli, especially in lieu of the fact he had that massive turn. You weakened everyone on our side to ensure his victory.

Whether this was some underhanded move or simply...I dunno what else to call it. Poor choices perhaps? Nonetheless, it is possible that there was something to the accusation.

Yes kyle as you can see Masli was not who this was really directed towards and I have since spoken to them.

And I just read what the accused wrote and it is such garbage. If the guy was a cook I may believe it but there was no way he thought in any way he could have won with the mover he made. Green missing a turn was absolutely inconsequential since he was weak and practically out of the game anyway. It was blatnat suicide - to get the game over and assure his pal victory. Im sure Masli had nothing to do with it - Im just sick of good games being ruined by crap like this.... the allure of the challenge of these games is diminshing.

I have exprienced and suffered from same stuff many times to now. I understand your pain clearly. But do not trust hope too much in this case. I doubt this to be counted as a part of illegacy and will be punished.
You will probably be couraged to leave approoriate ratings + foeing him.
Do not forget to enter the reason of your foeing him, then you will know why you had foed him if you are asked.

I hear ya hard. Like I Said at end I doubt anything would come of it nor am I out for blood necessarily but when people pull this garbage it should be known to as many as possible. See you for REAL battle soon pal.

I don't think anything against the rules was done, but some people may just be rushing because they have other things to do. For all we know, he could have been staring at the T.V. or somethings.

So, basically, imcjb, instead of helping in weakening the strongest opponent, attacked the other players, weakening them, thus made it easier for the strongest player to win the game. Are there anymore games like this that imcjb seem to make a move that handed the game to another player? Are there any more games where Masli seem to benefit to a particular move made by imcjb? Making this report, you already made the public aware of a possible secret diplomacy between them and if there is some truth to this, people are welcome to support this case against them and we can look into this further. If none, then this is as far as it goes. Still this is noted. If you feel they have a secret alliance in your game, feel free to leave the appropriate ratings for these players.
