Accused:

Calaador
padfootsm

The accused are suspected of

Other: Game fixing for points

Game number(s):

4828527

Comments: I do not have a problem when players team up to weaken the strongest player, but conspiring to ensure that a lower ranked player does not win for the sake of minimising points lost by the higher ranked players is out of order.

Calaador blatantly admitted this in the game chat:

2009-05-06 16:56:04 - Calaador: well, blue. we both are alone
2009-05-06 16:56:07 - padfootsm: ....daaaamn
2009-05-06 16:56:11 - padfootsm: ...I guess?
2009-05-06 16:56:16 - Calaador: and yellow is alone in us
2009-05-06 16:56:27 - padfootsm: I won't go for you.
2009-05-06 16:56:36 - padfootsm: If you're willing to work towards a common goal.'
2009-05-06 16:57:04 - Calaador: well i want loose to much points

After ensuring Calaador was in a winning position, padfootsm missed his remaining turns.

it technically wasnt a secret diplomacy or throwing of a game seeing as the tactic they used while im not a fan of it was to gang up against the lower ranked player to ensure minimum point loss.

however it looks like he was online at the time of his turns and a point can be made that he intentionally deadbeated, and skirted the line of "throwing a game" although it was worked out that way in chat.

either way he should at least get a Warning for his behavior and you should Foe & rate accordingly

Good Luck,
KS
