Accused: King Archer [Noted]

Postby owenator on Wed Apr 29, 2009 2:06 pm

Accused:

King Archer

The accused are suspected of:

Severe PM Abuse

Comments:

I've asked the above player to refrain from PM'ing me after we played in a game together. He has been condescending, rude, and now it's gotten to the point where he's harassing me. I've warned him on more than one occasion to stop, and yet he continues. I've retained copies of these messages and I'd be happy to provide them for reference/proof to justify my claims.

ummm....read carefully - it says he is accused for PM abuse. Foeing someone will not prevent stoppage of PM's, and obviously I've already foed him.

You can ensure all messages he sends you, are deleted before you get them. You need to set a rule in your inbox preferences.

I'm on klobber's foe list and can't PM him or write on his wall.
So there must be a way... or are all his messages replies?

This may assist with owenator, but the individual's actions still should be punished because
if he's doing it in this case, he's almost assuredly either already doing it to someone else
or he will be in the future. A warning at the least is in order.

Users can turn off the PM function, it is on the Control Panel under Board Preferences: "Allow users to send you private messages:".

Unless some evidence of PM abuse can be provided (screenshots here in the thread or forwarded PMs to one of the hunters) nothing can be done. This thread will be left for 24 hours and if no evidence is provided at that point, this thread will be marked [Closed].

A message has been sent to King Archer asking him/her to please stop following owenator into games and to stop PMing owenator. owenator, please check your inbox for detailed instructions to stop receiving PMs. This is marked [Noted], if King Archer continues to harass you, please make either king achilles or me aware of the situation.
