How can two people play from the same computer and not be busted for being a multi?

Uh, they don't cooperate, don't cheat... they're different people?

My girlfriend and I play from the same computer, and we're not multis.

My brother-in-law and his daughter play from the same comp. and they were sent an e-mail from CC. They would not let his daughter join any more games. They played only one game together, the rest of their games were against others.
