I told him that it is cheating and to not try it again and he seems to think that some how it is within the rules
I think a warning is in order. He's a ?, obviously new to this. Just lead him over to the instructions and warn him, I think.

Ok so he's a n00b, he wouldn't know any better. But it seems extremely weird that he knows pming tactics and would pm another player for a secret diplomacy, at least this player needs to be looked into as a possible multi.

Hey sailorseal,
he's obviously new here, right? Why not just respond to him in private, and say "hey, I know you're new here, but this is a secret diplomacy, and is against the rules. Everything has to be done out in the open, in the game chat. So if you could just post this in game, I'd appreciate it!" There is no reason this should have been posted in the forums. Handle it privately, the last thing this poor guy needs is a message from an admin, and why? Because you're self important and had to go and run to daddy right away.

Actually I did try to handle it privately but he still believes that it is not cheating so I had to bring it here, nothing to do with my massive ego

hey, he's trying to be the new C&A mod/hunter... give the kid a break... however, had he mentioned he tried to handle it privately at first, i'm sure you wouldn't have posted what you did... sailor, try not to leave out all the facts!! it helps the mods to know that you tried to handle it quietly and the member didn't believe he was breaking any rules...-0

Thanks Owen, I edited the first post but to be 100% honest the.killing.44 saw me check my inbox and told me I had to report him but I didn't know how to sreenshot so he filled out the post claiming "You will some how mess it up, let me do it"
