Accused:

Ulrikp
diver

The accused are suspected of:

Conducting Secret Diplomacy

Game number(s):

Game 4152198

Comments: In the game mentioned, diver (blue) gained a significant edge early in the game. I struggled to build up a couple continents to oppose blue, and at last was successful. I called out to the other players in the Game Chat, asking them to help me fight the still far superior position that diver was in. Inexplicably, Ulrikp (pink) repeatedly kamikazed his armies into my bonuses, even when it would have been more strategic and convenient to attack diver or even simply build his territories up.

Even when it was clear that I would destroy whichever armies he left deployed in the continents I was intending to hold, he would just kamikaze his armies in anyway, preventing me from launching any form of offensive against diver while some of the other players tried to hold blue off (yes, we coordinated against diver, but this is all in the Game Chat). As such, Ulrikp clearly gave the game to diver.

Furthermore, (and here I will get into specifics), Ulrikp had numerous opportunities to hit diver with little fear of repurcussion. At one point, diver held Spain, and Ulrikp held France with a superior force, while diver also held the continent Africa. For no reason I can determine, Ulrikp simply sat on his hands for several turns.

During this time, I was attempting to secure Scandanavia on top of my Western Russia continent (which Ulrikp had randomly kamikazied into earlier until he was kicked out of that area by myself and other players). By the time I had secured Scandanavia, diver had secured Africa, The Middle East, and Mediterranea. When I finally had the bonuses necessary to strike at diver, Ulrikp inexplicably struck not southwards, but northeast into Scandanavia.

The only possible result of this action would be to give diver this game. There is no chance that Ulripk could have won by this strategy whatsoever. However, every time I would take my continent back, Ulrikp would simply take it again. This lasted perhaps three turns, by which time diver had won the game.

I'm sorry this report is so long, but I wanted to make sure that all the details were here. If there are any questions, let me know.

Note: If it turns out that Ulrikp is just supremely retarded, then I apologize to diver for this accusation.

This was just a bad move not diplomacy. He is just a bad player or made a bad move. He gains nothing by suiciding so why would he agree to do it

Secret diplomacy cases are usually hard to prove. Pink may have a different point of view when he took his turns. Since this also happens to be Ulrikp and diver's first game played together, we would need more than one game of strong evidence of malicious plays involving the same players to warrant a block.

Okay, thanks for the review. My apologies for the lengthiness of the opening post.
