These are suspected Secret Aliance
Suspect users: Gen Chickdick and Lexx
Game number:
http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=69844
Comments: Early in on the game, Gen Chickendick asked me through private messaging for an alliance. I said I wouldn't do a secret alliance and to ask me in the game chat. He never did so I just assumed the offer was off. I believe that he went on to ask Lexx for a secret alliance, who accepted. The entire game they build up troops and barely attacked each other and hardly fortified their borders between each other. Doesn't make sense to me why they would do this unless it was some sort of alliance.

can the mods check PMS? It seems like they would be able to in case of something like this happening.

Lack has always refused to do that, as far as I know. Might just have to leave feedback...

I don't think it is that easy to check PM's...... but, I think you might be right about this one.

Yeah I hate to do this and "tell" on people. But this seemed like it was obvious and unfair.

Lack technically has the ability to check (just like your isp can check your emails if they chose to) but as a policy does not. Private is private and we dont like to invade privacy...as much fun as I'm sure that would be in some cases.
And mods specifically do not have the powers to ever read PM's. Only Lack, and then only through a rather roundabout manner.
feel free to leave feedback on the player so people know...that's exactly what feedback is for.

Twill, can't Rynn just copy/past or forward the PM to you or lack in some fashion? I mean, I agree that this example is exactly why feedback was created, but in this case, it appears to me that there may be solid evidence which would require more than just "negative feedback"...banning perhaps?
Or is this method too easily fabricated and corrupted, so it can't be used?

I hate people proposing alliances by the pm. I had have more than one of them, but I never do a repport because they will not be banned and maybe I will have a revenge negative feedback. So, I agree, with you have a message in your inbox of somebody asking you for an alliance he/she must be banned. Is a evidence.

Sorry, I will not form an alliance unless you wish to announce it in the game chat...

I like the subject of the PM. Seems like a kinky guy. Maybe I should get his number.

All I can say is post that feedback, if you get a retaliatory feedback, let us know and we love to take swings at those so it will get fixed pretty fast
