I agree 100%.

Also, this is probably a coincidence, but he's in games with 6 ?s and all of them are deadbeats. That's above average, even for ?s.

What else would you expect from Kemmler? This seems pretty open and shut case. Note sure what the punishment is, but this is not good at all.

I am not saying that I agree with the comments made my Kemmler in that game, however, the the new recruit did not throw the game so he did nothing wrong. the rules state:

Unwritten Rules

Obviously any gross abuse of the game is forbidden. This includes but is not limited to: throwing games or deliberately benefiting from thrown games, intentional deadbeating, serial teammate killing, hijacking accounts.

the person he was playing against did not throw the game and in fact, italian king! won. Kemmler did not benefit from his comments in game chat and even though what he proposed would have been against the rules, italian king! won, making Kemmler's comments on par with trash talking, and that is allowed. He was annoyed about the loss which is understandable and his actions were wrong; however, telling someone to break the rules is not breaking the rules and he what he said was within his rights because he did not benefit from his actions

Doesn't matter if he benefited from the action, think of all of those multis who do not benefit from their second account and they get punished.

Probably THE most incriminating line I've EVER seen players use (and literally - I've NEVER seen a case where the person wasn't guilty when saying) "I know RISK well because I play the board game a lot," when they are playing in a freestyle game. Never seen the game.

Personally I wouldn't have seen the kid as a multi though simply because... the guy's strategy sucked dick. Kemmler either sucks at 1v1 or he got absolutely shafted by the dice. I can't see what he did but looking at the logs - he wasn't fast as Kemmler said nor did he do much country wise... such as attacking a neutral China territory.

busted multi or not the fact Kemmler was demanding he deadbeat still needs to be looked at. Some new players would have just to shut him up. This still needs to be looked into.

omg, i knew kemmler was opposed with points but come on this is so lame!!

You simply dont seem to grasp the fact that CC expects everybody to play within the spirit of the rules, just because it doesnt explicitly ban a certain act does not make it accectable.

Well, I hate to defend him here, because after reading I was annoyed at what he did here.. .but its obvious, that he must have known he was a multi, and therefore, was technically trying to protect himself from losing points unfairly

If the guy wasnt a multi, and kemmler did this repeatedly, a warning would at least be warranted, but since he correctly guessed the guy was a multi, its probably this is the only reason he did it. Telling a cheater to lose because they are cheating, isnt quite the same as telling someone who is playing fairly that they will accuse them unfairly.

Again, i hate to defend the guy.. if the player was an honest player, id have bashed kemmler harder than anyone.. but in the end, he was telling a cheater to stop cheating and to not win points unfairly... he was playing with a second account, and stealing kemmlers points unfairly from his point of view. He doesnt seem to be cooercing an innocent player. I think he truly knows hes a multi, and since he was right, he actually should get the benefit of the doubt.

If he on the other hand does it on a regular basis to players that arent multies... warn him, ban him, whatever makes him stop... but in this case, a speed game where hes keyed up to begin with, gets confronted by an obvious multi, probably isnt making up any grand strategy to strip points systematically...I dont see how you can even blame him for not wanting to lose points to an account, that shouldnt exist

I saw a multi, didn't want to lose my hard earned points, and tried to coerce him not to beat me. What I did may have been wrong, but in the end he was a multi and I could tell, and I was beaten unfairly.

I'd like it if this was CLOSED.

So If he had let you win you would have taken it down? You would have let a cheat off in exchange for points?

Those aren't 'hard earned points' by the way, you got most of them by farming on new recruits. The fact that less and less of these abused players are likely to return to the site after a game or two is even more ridiculous.

But you say you 'just want to play'? It must be such fun to play against people who still have no idea how it works, not to mention you only feel like playing if there's little to no chance of losing. Some people enjoy a challenge, but I guess you have some personal issues you need to work out first.

Kemmler has done nothing wrong .He caught a cheat in his game and tried to convince the cheat to quit .The particular cheat we speak of had no self worth so he didn't step down .

Kemmler is no cheat Frop. And killmanic I was talking to you when you discovered this game and what was said in the chat. You said he potentially f*cked up(or possibly might have been the word). But that potential was stripped the moment Mr. Multi refused to throw the game. It was a strong suggestion but it was denied, denied, denied. Kemmler, for future reference don't be bitter about losing points. It is just a game and you above many should know how easy points are to obtain. Very easy. You'll always get them back. And remember that it was you who joined the game. Throw this in the composted C&A threads with the rest of the garbage.
