Accused:The accused are suspected of:- Being Multis
Game number(s):
- Game 2959805
- [game]xxxxxxx[/game]
- [game]xxxxxxx[/game]
- [game]xxxxxxx[/game]
Comments: Denies the accusation...I then assume its would be another secret diplomacy we have to live with. Unfortunate we have to use strategy and study each opponent in public games before we pick and choose who it is we join and play against.

yes Thorzhammer, huntmf, and myself are friends. Kegler joined a game that we were trying to set up with another of our friends. But that does not mean that we have a secret diplomacy formed to take him out. It just worked out that way. He is a sore loser. I was thanking Huntmf because he got close to taking Thorzhammer out but couldn't quite wrap it up...thus setting the table for whomever was in the best position to finish the job. That happened to be me. Just cause people know each other in a particular game in no way means they are working together.

2008-08-09 16:16:18 - U-S-A! U-S-A!: I don't understand how you could say we are cheating. Your entire theory is based on the fact that the times of your moves a really close together. That only means that during the work day we pay close attention to the games.
I'd like to bring this to the attention of your boss.
Maybe you dont cheat the game, but you sure are cheating your boss.
Besides, if you know each other, why would you call them by their game name and not real names?
Also, I believe that you are suppose to tell everyone, on round 1, in the game that you know each other.
Four of you could dish out $6.25 each and get premium to set-up a premium account for passworded, private games.
But apparently, at work, you play your games instead of working.

Why on earth are you supposed to do that? The only thing you are expected to announce in the game chat are alliances. If you play fair and square, no need to elaborate on your conections.

I believe it is good etiquette to do so. I remember reading that somewhere and a moderator had stated it. Can't seem to find it. It is not in the rules, though. I agree with both of you to some extent. Personally, if there were only 1 visitor and the rest were my friends, I would definitely state it in the chat that we were all friends and such and that that person joined a game that was supposed to be for friends. Especially if I created the game. But I agree, the price to join Conquer Club is fair and . . . well, I would never create a game for friends that would be open to the public. If a friend of mine happened to join a public game that I have joined or vice versa, I see no need to announce it.

ok, by pay close attention to our games I meant that I work on a computer all day and have my email open. When it is my turn and I get the email I am able to take my turn right away and only spend a few minutes taking my turn. What I do with my time at work is my business and is no crime here. And if we decide to have free accounts and create public games for our use, what's wrong with that? Yes, occasionally another person will join a game before we are all able to, but so what? Why must we announce during the game that we all know each other? We still play the game the right way. Some people are just way too paranoid.
