sorry posted accidently while i was trying to ensure the preview was ok .. since i couldnt edit post heres the comment:
Joseph86 and i made a truce which you can see in the log. He asked for details and i went through and said no attacking of BONUSES (read one line below where he asks for details). Next turn i take out africa where he had a decent showing, but no bonus. during his turn (right after me) he takes out all but one of my bonuses and fortifies all of his lands, where he had not fortified anything against me prior during the truce (the fortification is somewhat understandable thats the nature of the game, but we had agreed no attacking and he went attacked, then blocked all his routes)
Joseph86 is not to be trusted. this person goes back on his word then claims stupidity as a reason

breaking a truce is not against the rules... you take a chance when you agree to an alliance/truce with someone else in the game. If you don't like how they played leave them the appropriate ratings and think twice next time before agreeing to a truce/alliance.

Hence the reason you shouldn't make truces. I tend to notice you only find truces with lieutenants and below... once you know how to actually play the game truces aren't necessary.

you know what .. i take back what i said. he actually apologized and said he didn't read the chat thoroughly. I am quite impressed he did so, he could have had the game, but the next round he let me be and kept to truce.
thanks for all your responses.
sorry about the post it was one of those heat of the moment types...haha

qft..u find in games with captains up that they just know what needs to be done there is little actually said about it
