The two players played the exact same tactics: clearing out all other players from each end of the globe but never attacking each other. They made minimal attacks on each other only after I called them on being suspicious.
If you attack one of them and gain any strength whatsoever, you can be sure to be attacked by the other immediately
Darwintwin admitted that the players know each other, and if you look at prior games they've played as teammates before.
Almost every round the game would be waiting for the two of them to go, and they usually went within 20 minutes of each other. Again the times changed a bit only after I made comments.
They also have about the same number of games under their belts and the exact same ranks.
