I played in the above-listed speed game with these people and they did not attack each other despite unguarded borders. One took Africa while the other took South America and the one in South America only had 1 army guarding Brazil while the one in Africa had 5 armies in North Africa and received 6 more that turn. Whats more, I checked their games and found that they are in many games with each other.
