Surely this has to be abuse, he's rating new players to the site poorly, most of them freemiums, but this isn't within the spirit of the rating system at all i feel. a warning and pm explaining why he shouldn't do what he's done is in order i feel

All these points have been raised in the many Ratings threads. I think the ratings are confusing, pointless and even more prone to abuse than the old feedback system, so why care anyway? The people that matter know you and know how you play regardless of what rank or rating you got.

There is an on going discussion about the ratings system on how we could improve it. Obviously, there have been some who misused the ratings system and from your experience, we are trying to get your inputs on how to make this better and modify it to make it more legible to everyone.
