Being Multis

Game number(s):

Game 2505751

Comments:
In game # 2505751, these two screen names almost always played within a couple of minutes of each other, which leads me to suspect that AwsParty is icedagger's newly-created multi account. This multi-account member made an effort to cover his tracks in the first round only, but after that, he played these two accounts consecutively, within very short amounts of time in each and every round. The game is still active, and so if he sees this post, he will most likely attempt to cover his tracks by spreading out his playing times in future rounds.

It's really hard to tell. Personally, I don't think icedagger is a noob, so he won't be cheating just to gain points (and he has a lot of points already). Also, I've done what icedagger has done several times. This is because sometimes when I go online I see the player playing and when they end their turn, I immediately begin my turn because I'm quite eager to play. And to me, one game doesn't seem to prove much.

All good points, and it may well be that these are two players who aren't cheating; I just don't know yet. Still, I don't know what tests the multi-hunters use to catch cheaters, and they may be able to tell better than you and I.

I have valid reasons for my suspicions.

Pretty sure icedagger isn't a cheat, he's probably on CC a lot as he is active in mafia and the forums. I think he'll be cleared to be fair.

I think the multi-hunters will be very grateful to you for helping in the investigation; after all, if you're "pretty sure," that should be enough to clear him.

KLOBBER, I doubt whether you will take the time to push a button and read this, but I looked at the game in question and I highly doubt that these two are multis or in a secret alliance. Just because a ranked player decided to defend a new recruit in game chat, does not mean that they are one person.

If the game was not your reason for reporting, then why was it included in the report on the first post? Also, I make a habit of reading every thread in C&A so it kinda is my business. I like to know who to avoid, but if these people are not multis I would hope that their name gets cleared.

he broke an allaince/truce

that was on my other account, ages ago.
and if someone does do an IP chekc on me now, please note that im babysitting for utafar - and for proof, who would play a crossword map!!! :lol:

I'll admit I'm not the best at this game, but it would be pretty piss-poor strategy even for me to lose points to my multi

As for the mystery of my quickly taken turns, I work on my computer a lot of the time, and get an email from CC whenever my turn comes up.

I think what you do with your games is a gross misjustice of the rules and potentially should be banned..... Please admins comment on this.

Klobber foeing anyone above a new recruit that joins his game or comments about him in the forum should be seen as gross abuse of the game.. Please andydufresne comment on this. I think what he does to gain a higher rank is screwed up and should be dealt with.

I'm sorry, but this website does not require its members to give you their reasons for putting you on their foes lists, and so you will find none of the members who have you on their foes lists will be posting any specific reason in this thread or any other.

Even though you're frustrated because it is not possible for you to join games with any of the members who have you on their foes lists at this time, there is still a light at the end of the foes list tunnel: You can still play games with any member who may not yet have you on his foes list, if there is any such member left.
