I explain it in the game's message board. If broer was a private or another low rank then I would have chalked it up to stupidity. Since he's a sergent he must know what he's doing and therefore be guilty of my accusation. I wasn't born yesterday. Obvious is obvious until there's at least a reasonable excuse.
