Accused:

The accused are suspected of: Secret Alliance

  • Having a secret alliance

Game number(s):

Comments:

Ok These two players have played several games with each other before, including 2 1v1s and a 3v3 with them on the same team. I am now playing a 3 player Malta game that I started, and both of them joined. They each secured a bonus, but never attacked each other other than the reason for getting the bonus. They do not protect their territories in their bonuses against each other but only against me. They only attack me aside from securing their bonuses, and easily could break each others bonuses...They must have some secret alliance to let them get a bonus, then get rid of me. And the fact that they've played several games together shows it...

Dude, give it some time, its the second turn. Also no one has gotten a bonus yet, other than yourself. Given these facts, what are you whining about?

For others looking at this, the game he is referring to is the first one on the list.

I'm 'whining' because I don't like playing against people who break the rules or seem to be; its not supposed to be part of this game...

You are whining. The fact of the matter is, there have been two turns taken by each player. How can you accuse two people of a secret alliance after two turns? The fact of the matter is, this is a three player game. In the first few turns of a three player game, some people like to take one country to get a card per turn, then build up their forces. Given that this is a no card game, I am surprised by the large amount of attacks that have taken place so far. In this type of game, the biggest advantage comes from having concentrated territories with large stockpiles of armies. Thus, each player taking one or two territories to get a continent is a fairly aggressive strategy. The other fact is, green went first and claimed a continent. Blue then went and took a continent. How do you know that blue did not attack green to try to break the continent? Blue also needs to defend himself from both you and green, since he has now become a target.

Lets put the shoe on the other foot here for a minute. You did not break either person's bonus. You could have attacked "Xaghra" from "Valletta" and broken blue, but you did not. Maybe you and blue have a secret alliance. You see where I am going with this?

Yes I did, the first time they claimed them. They only conquered back the territories that I took from them, nothing else. I didn't the second time because I wanted to see what they would do, and they would probably do the same thing again, only weakening me. Obviously green doesn't think blue will attack him because he has all his armies on the opposite side of his bonus. If they didn't have a secret Alliance, you think that just randomly green, who gets a smaller bonus that blue, would just 'randomly' keep all his armies on the other side of his bonus instead of breaking blues? Blue only has 1 territory with more than 1 army. There is no way he could just 'let' blue take control It looks kinda obvious...

Ok look after round 3, they continue to not attack each other and only attack and weaken me. Still think I'm 'whining'? Look at the log at what Awesome G-baby said,
2008-04-25 15:47:20 - Awesome G-Baby: it's nit an alliance he needs points.
That certainly means they are teaming up to eliminate me to let this cook win. Thats kinda cheating is it not? Once again, READ THE LOG! the only time they attacked each other was the first round. This has got to be something. Mods?

Ok now the game is over. I am confused and think there is something really strange going on. After I accused them of an alliance (which I realize I shouldn't have done then), one of the 'team members' said "its not an alliance he just needs points!", meaning that once I am eliminated he would deadbeat or something to let this cook win (that only has like 300 points). Well I noticed earlier that the log does not have what he said anymore- somehow it disappeared. [ask 'lancehoch' if you dont believe me, I also talked to him about it and showed him the other person's remark) So I take my turn and next thing I know the game is over and I lost 89 points...I've never lost that much before! Is it even possible? Or is it because he only had 300 points? Well now im really mad because It was because these two players teaming up I lost 90 points... Also, once I accused them, they attacked and conquered a country or two from each other but only the same ones over and over again, keeping their original bonuses they guarded against me in the beginning. They did this just to make it look like they weren't cheating. So together they wipe me out, while green (the then corporal) slowly weakens and lets blue dominate. Blue (the 300 point cook, wins)
Sorry if this is hard to read but I would like to make a point- is that not cheating? Is there anyway I can get my points back? Will both of these players be punished? They both have played several games together and already know each other so its possible.
^ that was for you wicked

No matter what is decided on if they're cheating or not, you don't get the points back.

Also, their chat "disappeared" because you added them to your Foe list. Take them off and you can read the game chat again, if there is any. (then you can put them back on)

Any punishment will be decided once the case has been looked at.

probably the (real) moderaters and the multi hunters and maybe the big cheese himself.

anyways if they are found guilty the will most likely be blocked from making more games unless they upgrade their accounts. Everybody gets a second chance here on CC, unless it already was your second and third chance..;-)
