I'm deleting my original post now. The father-son duo of barterer and zoebear are legitimate and we worked out the issues we had in our game, which barterer was very gracious to do. No grudges.

I won't disagree that that is what happened in this game. Zoebear is my son which I posted at the start of the game.
RC has made some valid points in game chat. My general philsophy in game play is to attack the stongest player when my turn comes about which has tended to be RC because Zoebear is using a strategy here that I don't think will work.
On the other hand, I think that RC is correct in the sense that I would worry more about another player who wasn't my son if they were building such a large force.
In the future I will stay away from playing singles games with Q (except when I'm playing with other family members) to avoid the issue going forward. I will also back out of this particular game so as to not cost RC points because I think he's right that it is unfair to him the way the game has progressed.

That's a much better choice obviously. Its interesting because when we play family games (my brother and his two children have recently joined) the games don't go that way at all. They tend to be a free for all with me getting an early elimination. I'm suprised to see the hold and build strategy coming out of zoebear because I hadn't seen it before (although he also used it in a one-on-one game we started about the same time-didn't work for him there either).

I would agree that doubles is the best option if you wish to play together. It is too easy to let your allegiance to your son or father get in the way of an objective game. Thank you for doing the honorable thing in this game.
