Cheating or a grey area? [Not cheating]

This is my first time making one of these types of posts, as I just want a bit of a clarification about tactics and rules. Both the Unwritten rules and the Rule 1 mention the frowning upon of hijacking accounts or playing alts, but I'm not sure if this counts as either (or if it legal and just cheap).

The situation is this: I'm currently in a 6 player doubles match. It's down to myself, a member of a 2nd team, and 2 members on the 3rd team. The game has now been going on for a week now and has been quite a good one in my opinion. The matter at hand is that one of the players on the 3rd team mentioned in chat that he is going out of town for a few days and that his teammate will take his turns for him (the only way I could envision this is by logging into his account and physically cashing his cards and placing his armies). Since that post, "he" has made a turn. Now is this abuse, or what? My teammate didn't have internet access last week and was promptly eliminated due in part to his skipping his turn, if I had known I could have logged into his account and taken his turn, I certainly would have :) .

It just seems like collusion to me. I understand the need for teammates to communicate and plan accordingly but this seems to be taking it a bit too far. I mean CC has a timer for a reason, and it does keep your armies for you if you miss a turn. Doing this seems to me to at least be a dirty tactic, if it's not against the rules of the game entirely. Some response on the matter would be greatly appreciated (in the meantime I'll refrain from taking my next turn).

Subject line: Cheating? Collusion?

These are suspected Multis/ I'm not quite sure what it is.

Suspect users: SKETRS, General Cornrow
Game number: http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=1808315
Comments: I think my above comments suffice to sum up the situation.

It's called account sitting and is a common practice. I've had account sitters and account sitted for people. It's okay as long as they are not in the same game together, the exception being on the same time in team games.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure this has been discussed and is allowed.

this is legal but many players abuse this "babysitting" account tactic. Skyt and aliakber1001 to name a few. these guys actually set up games with 2 or 3 accounts and pretend to be playing moves for friends that are out of town but know from the start that they will be making all the moves for the entire team. it gives them a huge advantage in team play.

A reference to SkyT and w.e account you say he use would have been funny...writing an essay about it afterwards really wasn't.

on topic - totally legal, nothing wrong with SPARSE babysitting just so as long as it doesn't turn into a habbit.

Account sitting is allowed as long as you are not in any standard/assassin/terminator games together.

Account sitting is still allowed in freestyle team games, though frowned upon by many. You are not allowed to sit for someone else to give your team an advantage. It may only be used to prevent your teammate from missing a turn.
