These are suspected Secret Alliance

Suspect users: gpellamjr, spyhunter (players) and nmhunate representing himself as a moderator I guess.

Game number: 1767548

Comments: I was in a three way game with gpellamjr and spyhunter. gpellamjr left his border next to spyhunter exposed from about the third round until the end of the game and yet spyhunter who was in a clear position to break gpellamjr's bonus didn't.

When I said something about this gpellamjr had nmhunate come in and act as if he was some sort of moderator who as you can see in the game chat claimed that unspoken truces are legal.

I paid my membership because this is a very enjoyable way to pass some time but these types truly drag the experience down.

Thank you for your consideration.

Hey wjcore,

I understand your concerns but I would also like to make a distinction between "unspoken alliance" and "secret alliance". Secret alliances are illegal, and consist of players colluding without posting the information in game chat.

An unspoken alliance on the other hand occurs simply because of game dynamics. By placing a large stack of men behind a single territory you can defend a continent without appearing aggressive (if the player breaks the continent you attack them hard, and they recognize that threat so they let you keep the continent). The gamechat leads me to believe that is exactly what happened in this case.

Also, I don't think nmhunate represented himself as a moderator. He posted his opinion on the matter, and is probably friends with gpellamjr, but never said that he worked for CC or anything to that effect.

Unless there is future evidence of collusion between these players, they will remain cleared. If you are still wary of them, feel free to add them to your ignore list and they won't be able to join games with you in the future.
